DJ Andy = Imam ??

Hello all you fantastic BBians, here comes the first thread of mine on the forum 😎

Just finished watching the first episode. Why was Salman hell bent in trying to make him the next Imam. Dude, everyone can't be Imam. And don't tell me he doesn't have a personality that he needs to be tagged as Imam to create an image in the house 😆

First episode and nah, he ain't impressive much. He comes across as someone trying too hard to sound cool and happening. His intro was filled with mimicry on few of the rocking housemates who created names for themselves with their own persona. Rather he could have used the screen time to reflect some of his personality, but nah he was busy riding others' tail 😆 And his feminine sounding voice doesn't help the cause either 😆 So far, I don't see Imam in him or someone who can be entertaining. Let's see if he is able to change my opinion and create ruckus in the house, which I am looking forward to.

Just because he is a stereotypical gay,doesnt make him equal to emam!Emam was awesome-i mean over the top crazy-bold-crude-crass-straight-forward-and i say all this in a good way. From Emam;s intro last year to the finale,he was the USP of the show! Andy on the other hand,being a style guru too-a despite him denying it-is going to try to fit in emam's shoes,along with many others(ironically the people he was mocking)-he seems fun BUT not in the same way. He seems a bit laid back and girly-thats not wrong-but thats not how he would stay long too. Maybe he would change and do things for the camera. I dont know,only time shall tell!But now,i salute emam for setting a new standard for craziness on indian television,wohooo!!

He is the most interesting member of the house in this BB7 for me...😉😆 Will be with him for sure 😊

@Bold: Bingo to that. He indeed made a special space in the history of Big Boss only because of his one-of-a-kind persona. Only because of him last season got the needed spice and entertainment quotient.

@Underlined: Exactly how I perceived him as well, a stereotypical gay man. And as you mentioned nothing wrong with it, but just not spunky enough for the house. Hopefully there is more to him than what it being reflected.

He maybe the most interesting one in the house right now but nowhere close to the entertainer & daredevil that Imam was.

For me, he doesn't even seem interesting enough. There are others who seem more intriguing to be the next entertainment package of the house, but it's still too early to say.

So far he seems OTT and annoying.

You are expecting too much out of him by comparing to Imam, you may end up getting very disappointed.

Is that for me ? If yes, then it's not me, it's Salman and the makers trying to compare him to Imam. He doesn't have that aura or personality to be compared to Imam. Thus I was only calling out Salman and the BB makers for being so desperate to create another Imam 😆

Compared to Andy, I see other characters far more feisty and drama material. Let's see
