Beautiful and talented Fenil Umrigar, the new Pihu of Balaji Telefilm's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain aired on Sony Entertainment Television is on cloud nine after bagging her dream role of Pihu.
The young actress who was last seen in a youth show Best Friends Forever just can't stop thanking her casting director Piyush Joshi who saw Pihu in her and brought her on board.
"I was waiting for a good role but unfortunately, the roles I was offered were not interesting. I had lost all hopes and went back to Surat to meet my family. I was in Surat when I got a call from Balaji's casting director Piyush who asked me to audition for the generation leap in Bade Achhe... As I was in Surat, I couldn't go for the auditions but they saw my scene from Best Friends forever and Ekta mam liked me. Interestingly, initially I was called to do another role of Suhani, which is of equal importance. But ultimately I bagged the role of Pihu. Later I got to know that many known faces were short listed for the role but I think I was destined to play Pihu. It is only because of Piyush that I got this role as I had few hopes but he was the one who was positive and thought that I was the apt choice to play Pihu," said the young actress.
Fenil further adds, "While I was waiting for my contract being done with Balaji to play Pihu, I saw Piyush interacting with other actors and I feel he is really a genuine person. He's not like others who pretend of helping and giving work to you, he actually understands your talent and cast you accordingly. I have seen him helping many newcomers who are in need of work. Piyush is like a helping hand to actors who are talented and are looking for the right opportunity. I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and giving me a dream role."
Fenil, who has already begin shooting for Pihu says, this is the actual start of her career and playing Pihu is a big break. "Being a part of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is a dream come true and a big opportunity for me. This is my actual big break. I am working really hard to entertain the audiences' and I just hope that they like my work."
