mahamanga,is only hungry for power, she does chaprusy of Jalal only for power, she does not even care enough for her own son or Jalal. she didnt kill the baby for her sons sake but she was afraid of the power Bagam Rukaia would get if she gave Jalal a son. and mahamanga does not want to loose her own position.
how can Aadam khan ever become emperor,is he the son of Humayu or a blood relative of Jalal. he is only a foster brother of jalal because mahamanga was jalal nurse maid. so mahamanga is only a glorified servant, who has got to her position because of the respect and importance jalal has given her. of mahamanga thought she could become empress of India i think she would have gotten rid of Jalal a long timeback. mahamangas importance and extent of ambition can only go as far as running the haram and being prime minister. she can never rise over that rank. and can only be displaced from it by another ambitious women like Rukaia. and her reason behind being afraid of Jodha is the same, with Jalal falling under Jodha's spell more and more she is afraid that jodha will gain the position of most favorite queen displacing Rukaia, and knowing how strong minded jodha is mahamanga is afraid that Jodha kindess with everybody will make her a popular queen, thus giving her more power even if she wants it or not.
mahamanga is nothing but a selfish and powerhungry woman. and i hope Jalal soon sees her true face.
