Telly serials have a tendency to defy logic to garner TRPs ...but the butchering of QH by its maker's is absolutely bizzare . They began well and were welcomed by most of us as they introduced a genre ...romance set in the midst of Muslim culture and traditions ..the actors were top class esp KSG and SJ...the two were largely responsible for drawing the viewers so that QH became a very popular show in a very short time .
What seems to undo the initial quality of QH is a weak creative and writing team ...there is too much repetition...Zoya running away from repeated nikahs ...Tanveer just never seems to stop trying to kill Zoya ...By now Tanveer has bored viewers to death and most have fled in anticipation of her return . I know of at least a hundred in my closed circle who watched QH daily but did not do so today ..dreading a repeat and over acted Tannu performance together with the other unwelcome sight ...Vikram !!! We found better ways to spend Friday evening ! By Monday many more will follow...so what exactly are the maker's going to gain from these so called twists ? Production houses must not undervalue the spectators intelligence ..in doing so they are exposing the lack of it in their own mind space .
How many serials begin well and then deteriorate sharply plunging downhill !
Another one bites the dust :( KSG please flee the scene ..we do not want you to be associated with crap ! You made Asaad iconic ..take him with you and let QH bury itself as so many others earlier that did not pay heed to viewer loyalty !
I have been watching DMG for the past few days ..its a lot more fun !
