I will add the village scenes because of Lajjo family who are showing extra unnecessary care for Nikhil is not going down well with me also.
For example Lakhi talks a bit too much...that really irked me being a child😒
They (villagers) all ask weird questions or say something without thinking...
saraswati knows in what circumstances the marriage is celebrated and the huge differences between the two families still she wants all of a sudden Nikhil family should accept Lajjo.
It would have been more acceptable if ever Lajjo would not have lied...
I like Lajjo is no more using 1 KG of vermilion hope her saris also change in a few days with the help of Gunjaa.

Here's a combined take on both these episodes because they go hand in hand. I don't know about you guys but I'm not a huge fan of the gaon scenes. I find them overtly melodramatic and high on EBM at times.
You know the one thing these episodes have reminded me of is a bandage. You know the type that you put on a cut? Why? Because the funny thing about a bandage is the way you remove it. If you rip it off, its sudden pain and then its gone. But if you try to do it slowly, bit by bit, it sticks to your skin and each little pull to get it off hurts more and more.Very similar to Laajo's relation to Nikhil no?His family wanted to get rid of her. Barkha wanted her out of the house immediately even if the divorce proceedings would take time. It was a major decision, a big one but with one sudden painful rip, it would have been the end of the Nikhil-Laajo saga.On the other hand, you have Nikhil who is trying his hardest to remove Laajo from his life in the slowest, smoothest manner ever. And what happens? It's too painful. His conscious is too loud, her circumstances are too dire, the results of his actions too severe and cruel. So he decides to let it be.Karma and kismet are indeed mysterious things.Nikhil married Laajo to save her life and honour. He put his life, plans, dreams, goals and family on the back burner for her. He was quick to put her on. To take on her responsibility. Putting on a bandage when there was a cut and blood was oozing out. But now he is forced to spend time with her, open up to her, accept her as a part of his life. All because he didn't have the heart/guts to remove her. The bleeding has been stopped. He could have gotten rid of the bandage but he's too afraid to rip it off.Laajo in turn entered his life as a burden. A stranger, a misfit, a responsibility. However, she has already started protecting him, shielding him, healing him. She is reaching out and calming the pain of a wound much deeper than the cut he thought he needed to stick the bandage on for. One that perhaps even Nikhil doesn't realise he has.How they stick together and make it work - like Nikhil said, it's up to them to make it work - is going to be a treat to watch for sure!
