@delena i m completely agre with u. They use asya just for the sake of trp. Now in order to making zoyan they lost their brain, logic. Oh sorry i talk about logic. Since tanveer entry they forget all logic. Ok if zoyan marriage happens why ayan stick with it? He immediately dissolve this marriage when he out of this situation. Or he thinks that wow what a luck i enjoy two girls at the same moment. This is simply butchering the character.

I agree with you! I'm not liking the way they've brought this about. The show intrigued me because of its complexity and logical narratives. However, they're losing all of that an I'm just hoping things turn out better than they seem because it'll ruin the show. I think they could've come up with a much better approach for this and it could've been done earlier. I agree with a lot of time being wasted for useless build ups. I guess the mean thing bothers me because some people don't share their thoughts or vent, they continuously bash and so yeah that bothered me a bit. But I'm on hoard with you guys with the whole time they chose and it's lack of logic.

I may be one of the few but I don't have an issue with Zoyaan. What I have an issue with is the absolutely pathetic writing they are using to show it. Is logic dead? Gul had ample opportunity to show her original story between October to June but she played the trp game putting AsYa front and centre and diminishing contact between Zoya and Ayaan. Now, we are left with a story that hasn't moved since June, an "accidental" marriage that technically can be dissolved the minute it happens and absolutely no explanation, logic or focus to the main narrative.

This is character assassination at its best and shitting on their own story at worst!

We can't jump to conclusion until we see the episode. We have not seen the "accidental" marriage yet. How it happens and how they can't escape the situation is yet to be watched. We can't be judgemental based on spoilers only.

And its good that makers gave AsYa relationship time to grow and its also good that ZoYaan didn't have any type of close contacts till now to have any feelings for each other.

👏Exactly! When we signed up for the show, we weren't signing up for only a love story; We were signing up for the drama and dard too, which WAS stated in the synopsis. Thus, whatever twists & turns are there, AsYa ARE endgame, and we just have to wait and see.

This show is modern; It's not about purity and what-not but practicality, fixing mistakes, and becoming better people. It was never meant to be a ideal marriage portrayal but rather a journey of troubles of two families that in the end get unified.

Yes, it'll hurt, but Gul for TRPs and moving the show is doing this, and I for one am curious to see how it turns out :)

For trp you don't distort the crux of your show which is to show how well Muslim families balance their beliefs and progressive modernity. Nikhat was strong when she spoke against dowry, her father and bother stood by her. A Muslim man can be a great friend with a woman like asad tannu. Unfortunately tannu turned out to be rotten but concept was good. Of course Zoya breaking all myths. But marrying a girl with two living brothers is just not a symbol of practicality it is to show that marriage is a joke.

My thots are probably a bit shallow n rigid where Zoyaan are concerned.
I started watching QH fm 1st Jan onwards n that too for a shallow reason 😆. I saw Zoya in jeans n said wow I'm watching this show coz I was tired of seeing female leads in salwar kameezes (which change into sarees n heavy jewelry after marriage 😆) with extra long hair (wigs).

I had read the synopsis before deciding to watch this serial as I don't watch too many serials so I had to be choosy abt watching any serial. When I read that "Asad n Zoya fall in love and by a twist of fate Ayaan marries Zoya". I dint like this part for some reason. My Indian mind just cdn't that two brothers fall for the same girl n the girl gets married to the younger bro esp when Asad who she loves was alive n they dint mention that ASYa had split for some reason.

Yes. They made it very clear since the very first epi that Zoyaan is going to happen. So they are not 'cheating' us. But they wove in AsYa so beautifully in our minds that it was magical to see these two on screen. Hence Zoyaan became more n more disturbing for me with time. If they had shown Ayaan developing feeling for Zoya in the beginning itself it wd've (probably not sure) been slightly more acceptable to me. But showing Zoyaan now (romantically or by accident) is something I neither understand nor want to accept even if it's shown logically.

I also don't understand how this track will get TRPs.

Whatever the circumstances are for the marriage - if they choose to honor it AsYa needs to be over. It's as simple as that. And frankly this story would have been a lot more interesting if zoya did have feelings for both because at least there is drama and conflict. As the story stands there is no drama. It's about the art of storytelling and Gul apparently lost that in June.
