I heard about Jodha AKbar TV series but never watched the show...

I just gave it a try yesterday and i must say i am impressed...

This is my first post in Jodha Akbar forum... So please bear with me...

Coming to the topic of the post, i am really confused about who is who...

I know that Ruqhaiya begum is the first wife of Akbar and Salima is the wife of Bairam Khan and after his death Akar married him... Till here i was clear about history...

When I searched the google about Jodha Bhai, strangely there is nothing related to her... But during this process I came to know that there is a hindu princess named Heera Kunwari ( later named changed to Mariam - us - Jamani)... She is the daughter of Bharmel, king of Ajmer...She was married to Akbar and she is a devotee of lord Krishna...

Those who read about the description of Heera might be thinking that how come its so similar to Jodha... According to the show, Jodha is the daughter of King Bharmel who got married to Akbar...

Are you guys also confused same as me 😆 😆 😆

Are Heera and Jodha same or different

Sorry for the lame post and for bothering you 😳

Hi welcome to the forum.
In disclaimer they mentioned that in the history jodha is referred as Heer kunwar and also harkha bai.
Her actual name is unknown.

And i think marium- uz- zamaani is the title given to the begum who gives the heir to the mughal sultanate.
jodha gave birth to salim that's why she is called barium- uz- zamaani.

most of the history writer says the rajput princess name was heera bai or kachwa ki rajkuwari but recently read a article which says her name was jodha
so Heera , kachwa ki raj kuwari & jodha are same she later get the title of ''maryam zamani '' she is theprincess who give hire to akber
i will prefer jodha as in this serial they also name her jodha 😊
