Once you are in public domain, nobody is a holy cow! A forum like this exits primarily for the purpose of an audience airing their views and opinions on TV shows. While vile and objectionable language and personal bashing are not permissible, any other kind of opinion must and can be experienced.
On that note, apart from restrained performances and good casting, I really don't see how this show is so superior to anything else that is being show. It has its share of illogical twists, regressive portrayals and offensive tracks.
I am not a fan of this show. It is one of the few shows that I watch. For all her posturing, Gul Khan is as good or as bad as Ekta Kapoor. The good thing about Ekta is that she makes no bones about what she is doing. You get exactly what she promises which is pretty much nothing!
Sorry if I am offending fan sensibilities here but I just wanted to say this. I started watching this show with some expectation which has since steadily dwindled. I just feel sad that good opportunities continue to be squandered this way!
