@Truthseeker, thanks for raising the question to me. Let me try to explain my stand- if you read my post carefully, I have mentioned in the beginning of that paragraph that G 'realizing' that her going to Jaitser . . . I have not been very active on the forum to express my thoughts, but under the given circumstances, I was never in favor of her going back to Jaitser sply after all the drama Sumi and Sachi created. We have seen G's character being developed in the show so far and to me she never looked like some one who was an opportunist or some one who took the help given to her for granted. Hence I would not consider her to be that type even now. Yes, she was all set to go back to Jaitser since they had such an understanding. But again, given her feelings for J, and Sumi and Sachi's apprehensions, it would not be right on her part to go back to Jaitser. Given the character sketch of G, under the circumstances that she left Jaitser, she should have decided not to return irrespective of what J told her. Conversely she looked happy to return. Infact I would have expected her to be the one making an attempt to keep away from J more than what J tried doing. Since the CVs have not clearly shown what her thinking process behind this was, we can only leave it to presumption, you feel that she lacked self respect while I feel she was too casual and did not realize what her actions would lead to or perhaps sticking to her commitment or else she could be termed as ungrateful. If she was opportunistic, she would have jumped to the idea of J's Jaipur offer but she decided to decline it. That to me doesn't look like a person with a lack of self respect. If G was not sketched like the way she has been in the past, I would have also agreed with you on her lacking self respect. But under the present circumstances, unless the CVs clearly portray G's thought process we can only leave it to our respective presumptions.

@Truthseeker: You make a very valid point. I hope the CVs clear the air about this. Unfortunately they tend to rush important aspects of the show and spend months on unnecessary things leaving a lot of loose ends.

I love discussing my point with people who have a different opinion coz I feel it helps keep me objective. Thanks for raising the points you have, since its very thought provoking. 😊
