Three Hours Later...
Khushi looked into the mirror, irritated.. It was the 5th time she was trying to zip up her dress but in vain.. And she signed! She stared at her reflection, feeling defeated.. She failed in love, she thought! And suddenly she saw her door pushed open.. Her eyes shot open at the reflection of the mirror.. Her heart sunk in pain as she stared into the eyes of Arnav... In his black formal one piece suit, Arnav walked to Khushi and halted behind her.. Without breaking his gaze off her eyes, he brought his hands to her back and gently pulled the zip up.. Meanwhile a lonely tear rolled down her cheeks.. She was helpless as much as he was! And she lowered her gaze, defeated! Few seconds later Khushi lifted her eyes when she felt his hands on her neck.. Arnav pushed away her long silky hairs revealing her butterfly tattoo and brought a beautiful necklace to adorned her neck... The same pearl necklace which she returned him back before going forever from his life... Khushi could not stopped herself from touching those pearls.. She brought her hands on them and closed her eyes.. Those pearls back onto her neck.. It felt like something amiss since the last few years.. And she knew she would not be able to tell him to take it back again.. This was the last thing that would remain with her till death...
Her teary eyes pierced into Arnav's intense look and Arnav lowered his chin brushing his lips on her tattoo.. Khushi closed her eyes as she uttered.. "Arnav".. But he interrupted her.. "Ssshhh.., don't say a word Khushi..." Her heart too heavy to handle.. Tears rolling down her cheeks and a faint smile curved on her lips as she thought of the day they got this tattoo.. She wanted a tattoo like him.. she was so scared.. But stubborn as she was, Khushi had planted her nails into Arnav's skin as the tattooist marked her skin.. Gosh she was so happy to have matching tattoo with her love, her life, her Arnav.. When she finally opened her eyes from the past, Arnav had moved and was standing in front of her.. His gaze was fixed into her eyes while his one hand went searching for her wrists.. He held her right hand and gently brought it to his lips without breaking the eye lock... And he kissed the back of her hand with all his love.. While it was impossible for Khushi to hold back her tears, Arnav struggled hard not to break in front of her.. He was here to support her, he had to be strong.. And he said.. " Khushi, this is the right decision.. Whatever we've done was for our owns!, Right? " And Khushi nodded a yes.. Arnav brought his hands to his vest's pocket and took out an object.. A CD! He placed the cd on the dressing table and smiled faintly when Khushi followed his movements.. He brought his hands to her cheeks and wiped off her tears as he said.. " Get ready, I'll be waiting downstairs". He walked away and as his back was facing Khushi, he wiped off the one tear which finally rolled down his cheeks.. Though strong, but after all he was giving away his life forever.. He walked along the corridors, rushed down the stairs and stepped out of the house... Khushi took the CD from the dressing table and inserted it into the CD player.. And there it was! She closed her fists into her dress as she listened.. The music.. Their voices.. Never thought that a song that they recorded into the music room of Arnav for fun would actually turned out to be the truth of their existence...

"Khushi" signing her towards his arms.. She passed her arms around his and both entered the church.. Khushi looked straight ahead as they walked towards the altar.. La and Granny stood at the front watching their beautiful Khushi.. Indeed she was the most beautiful bride of this world.. As they reached the altar, Khushi turned her eyes to Arnav.. She wanted to say something.. Anything! But... Her words never came.. She watched helplessly when Arnav gave her hand to NK.and smiled faintly before walking away...

The bride and groom turned to face the priest while Arnav sat back into the seat between granny and La..

Arnav closed his eyes while his mind drove back to the worst day of his life.. When his father threw a newspaper in front of his eyes... And the tagline.. " Poor Orphan Trapped Rich Son" with a photo of Khushi and Arnav kissing.. He remembered the fire in his eyes.. The disgust he had for his father when the latter said.. "This is tomorrow's edition.. Not yet published... Just think about it.. This venture will be profitable for both of us.. Your future.. The rich lifestyle you are used to while this picture is the destruction of this girl.. It's up to you son.."

And Khushi walked back towards the door of the church, at the arms of NK.. She could see the smile on everyone's face, her granny, La.. Her eyes searched for Arnav but in vain.. He was nowhere to be seen.. And as she stepped out of the church, her eyes fell on Arnav, standing next to the car.. Unconsciously she let go of NK's arms and walked towards Arnav.. And she said... " Why? Why you found someone for me if you have no guts to hear me saying yes for someone else." He smiled and replied.. " I'm human Khushi.. And this is unbearable.. But deep inside.. I know NK will keep you happy.. Else I would have never allow you to reach this altar.. I'll always be the perfect one for you Khushi.. But we both loved each other so much that we chosen separate ways.. But I promised.. Next life you are only mine.." and he extended his right hand as he said.. " promise me khushi.. In another life, we'll fight for each other..." Her tears threatened to fall.. " Don't Khushi.. Don't cry.. I want you to be happy.. Because if you smile, if you laugh.. Wherever I am in this world.. I'll be smiling and laughing with you.." Khushi pushed away his hands as she fell into his arms.. " I promise Arnav.. I promise.. I'll be happy for you...!" And she pulled back.. Looking into his eyes, she said.. " Wherever I go.. I'll always feel your presence.. Your heart.. Your friendship will always be with me.. Always!"
