What continues to be nice though is nuance and dialogue.
1) I liked the way Saachi made Prachi understand the importance of trust...these are everyday issues being faced in every household...the back and forth b/w trust and caution...and Saachi's dialogue about trust being like fixed deposit...doubling in return with time...very niceđ
2) DV's bonding session with Aadu...I like how their equation is growing and we are learning more about DV through his interactions with Aadu since he bonds with him on a different level than the other females in the Prabhu household.
Of main interest in this bit was the fact that DV mentions Aadu's Taai more than Aadu himselfđ...and I liked how he told Aadu that Saachi reminds him of his own father who gave him so much freedom to follow his dreamsđ...a refreshing take on the typical build up of the boy-girl dynamic...the subconscious build up is nice...DV admires Saachi's way of taking care of her family...and I like that the typical guardian roles are juggled up somewhat...Aadu is Saachi's brother but she treats him like a son...Aadu-DV are bonding as peers although clearly DV is more mature than Aadu...yet they bond like brothers or buddies...while DV understands and even admires Saachi as a GUARDIAN figure who reminds him of his own father but he doesn't look at her as a guardian with respect to HIMSELF.
Also interesting was the bit where Aadu got DV to talk about the female attention he gets...lol...and DV in a rare relatively sober moment says that he doesn't find most of them worth noticing anymoređ...so basically he's in that phase past all the fun masti casual dating of his college years and now he's looking for something MEANINGFUL in his life. and he adds that the woman he'll notice now will be most different from all other women.
3) The ending confrontation...all of the mellowing of the past few days comes undone...lol yeh toh hona hi thađ...but what I really liked about this scene was a) the dialoguesđđ...the confrontations are so MATURELY written out...no unnecessary halla...there are SENSIBLE dialogues putting forth the POV of each character...be it Saachi with her frantic worry and overprotectiveness for Aadu or be it Dhruv with his pragmatic attitude regarding the minor injury and Saachi over-reacting about it...and b) What I like is how it's an IDEOLOGICAL difference but Dhruv always puts his pov forward respectfullyđđŒ
Precap was generic about the Ganpati celebrations but I'm curious to see what the fallout of this confrontation will be...or if DV will just be shooting his usual cheeky smiles at her next morningđ
