PART 8[A]

Its been 2 days since Khushi Announced that they are leaving for Shimla to Work under that person. She has resigned her job stating PAERSONAL REASON and she drove Aditya to get ticket for the nearest day possible and it was today.

Khushi asked Chachaji to inform that person about their decision. She tried to find him. But all her trials went vain as the certain person was in his hiding and maintained it very well. She dint have a choice but to work for him. She made Chachaji visit Buaji every weekend and pass them her well being as she did not want leave Buaji alone.

It was saturday afternoon and Khushi was chopping vegetables for lunch while watching her favorite Shah Rukh Khan's songs and Aditya went to confirm their train ticket. Suddenly she heard Aditya's mobile ringing. Khushi thought it'd stop. But NO. it was ringing continuously.

"Arey Sanka Devi Lagat he Parameswar apne phone bhul gaye. Jaake dekho kaun hai jo Tain Tain kar rahe hain(Sanka Devi, looks like Parameswar forgot his phone here. Go and check who is calling)"

Buaji yelled from kitchen.

Khushi pouted and went inside Aditya's room to check the phone call. When she was about to pick the call she heard someone at the door.

"KHUSHI KHUSHI... KHUSHI"

Came an angry voice. Khushi dint know what to do at that moment.

But she heard Buaji.

"Arey Ankit bitwa. Come inside. Sanka Devi is in a phone caal."

Khushi let out a sigh of relief and picked the call.

Before she could say anything she heard sweet voice of a girl who was pouring all her anger.

"How dare you Aditya? Again you dint inform me about your departure. Huh. Aditya why are you doing this? If you informed me about this I would have done all the needful na? My brother is also in Shimla. Why do you treat me as a stranger Adi? Why do you think taking my help will let your self respect down?"

Khushi Understood it was none other than Sanaah.

She hit slapped her forehead with her hands and thought

" Hai re Nandakisore. This girl is like Bullet train. Itna tezz bolegi toh hamare Nanhe ko in se Nipat te nipat te puri zindagi nikal jayegi(if she is going to talk so fast like this, my Nanhe will have tough time in his life dealing with her).

Khushi's smiled.

"Adi Speak up." Sanaah said frustrated.

"Arey, if you give some gap only na I can speak." Khushi bit her lips to control her laughter imagining Sanaah's face.

"Jiji? Aap(You)? Sorry, I thought it was Aditya. But I am angry on you too. Huh" Sanaah said.

"Ye lo. I'm Jiji for you too? I think Aditya told about me. But he hid you from us. Let me handle him later. See Sanaah. You should understand this. Your Adi na is Budhu at times. So think this also in that way. Once our debt is over, we will return. Then I myself will give you his chef stick and hit him for how long you want. But now for my sake don't trouble him. He is already depressed because of me." Khushi pleaded.

"Arey Jiji. I was just Upset. You don't worry. I wont trouble him. But Jiji Why did you oblige to that RAAKSHAS's condition? He might do something to you Jiji. Please don't go. I will ask my Bhai to handle the situation there. My studies got over and I will also join Bhai to do internship there in a well know chain of Hospitality. Jiji please hamare baat suniye. Aap mat jayiye. Pata nahi vahan sab kese honge(Jiji please listen to me. You don't go there. Don't know how will everything be there)."

Khushi was touched by the concern in Sanaah's voice. She was happy for her Nanhe to get such a girl in his life.

"Sanaah, don't worry about me. I will take care ok? Now there is someone at the door. I will ask Nanhe to call you once he returns. He went to confirm our ticket. And thank you so much. And WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY"

"Love you Jiji. Thank you so much"

Sanaah was literally jumping in joy that Khushi accepted her.

"Now let me see how Adi is going to escape from me." She said with a evil grin on her face.

Khushi came out knowing that Ankit must be fuming. After all she dint bother to inform him about her resignation.

"Ankitji" Khushi called him in a low tone. Seeing her Buaji went inside leaving them to deal the matter.

"Khushi, you resigned your job. And now you are going to leave the town too. You dint bother to inform me. Kuch din ke liye Darjeeling kya chala gaya, tum mujhe bhul gayi aur chodke jaane ke liye thaiyar bhi ho gayi(for some days I went to Darjeeling and here you forgot me and you are ready to leave me)?"

His angry voice went low and broke at the end.

"Ankitji. I dint want to disturb you. I know you went there as it was Naina's death Anniversary. Please Ankit ji, don't take me wrong."

Khushi tried justifying herself

"Khushi you know that you are the only friend I got. And Bauji also is close only to you. We don't have anyone else Khushi. But tell me why are you leaving the town suddenly."

Now Khushi got tensed. She dint know if she should tell him about the money or not. She knows that if she is going to tell him that, he will immediately give the money in her hands as he respects her that much.

But she was not ready to take his help as she refused his marriage proposal and now taking money from him would not justify her action though Ankit n Mr. Kashyap will not mind that.

"No Ankit ji, I just wanted a change of place. So I planned to take up a job out of town. And Nanhe also got a job there. So only..."

"Khushi are you saying the truth?" Ankit asked looking directly into her eyes.

Khushi was feeling uncomfortable as she knew that her eyes can show him the truth. So tried diverting him

"Arey Ankit ji. Do you think your frien is a liar? Now tell me Did Buaji offer something to eat? Or shall I bring you Hot Tea?"

Khushi asked him with a cheerful smile[off course a fake one].

"No Khushi, Bauji and I have a meeting with a client. We planned lunch with them. They must be waiting. I will leave now."

Saying he moved towards the door Khushi following him.

"Khushi, whatever it is, don't hesitate to take my help. And don't forget, your job is always ready for you to take up if you plan to return"

He said and closed his car door before Khushi could Deny.

Khushi breathed out with relief and went inside only to have another encounter with her Buaji who was waiting for her with her cooking stick in one hand and other hand on her hips.

"Oh no" escaped Khushi's mouth.

"Sanka Devi. Ee ka kiya tumne? Ankit bitwa ko bataya nahi ki tum Simla jane wali ho? Humein pata hai kit um unse paise nahi logi. Lekin unhe asli karan bata toh sakti thi. Who kuch madad karenge na? Dimaag kahan hai teri Hain(Sanka Devi, what have you done? Why dint you tell Ankit Bitwa that you are going Simla? I know that you wont accept money from him. But at least you should have said him the real reason behind your departure. He would have been helpful. Have you lost your brain)?"

Buaji blasted on her. Khushi was happy that Buaji understood that she wont take money from him.

"No buaji, I cant use him for my problem. Moreover it concerns Nanhe in it. So I cannot take risk. I should deal with it directly. Please Buaji. I don't want to discuss about it anymore.."

Before she can say anything, the Tv started playing "Pretty Woman" From KAL HO NA HO.

She held buaji's hands and started dancing holding Buaji's waist, twisting and twirling her.

Khushi saw the clock and her jaws dropped.

"Buaji. Its 2:30 and I am feeling hungry." Khushi said holding her tummy.

"huh Sanka Devi. You and your hunger. You always feel hungry."

Buaji hit her cheek playfully while Khushi pouted.

"Chaliye, lets pack for our journey." She said and was about to leave when she heard.

"Arey parmeswar. Pack the dresses that make you look like human being. Not those loose ones which shows you like some Ancient human escaped from caves of jungle." Buaji shouted from kitchen

"Huh, Jiji do I look like that?" he asked with his puppy dog face.

"No Nanhe. You just look like present day Tarzan dressed in full pants." She said and laughed out loud.

"Huh Jiji. If I am Tarzaan then you are lady Tarzaan dressed in Salwar suit. And see today you are dressed in the same lite Honey color salwar."

He showed her his tongue and ran to save his life. Khushi started Chasing him all over the house.

In Shimla.

Aarthi was standing in front of the small mandir in the cottage with her hands folded in prayer.

At that time, Anjali entered the cottage with Meetthi on her hip and holding Ansh in her other hand. While both were wriggling.

"Maa, own(down)" she said showing her finger to the floor.

"Bua let go off us." He said with his disapproving face.

"No. now stop wriggling you both. See Maa is leaving the town for few days and you should be there to see off her. You can play later."

She said giving them a warning look.

"Maa Nani out? Why?" Meetthi asked with her baby face.

"Guddu, Dadi is going to temple. She will come soon ok. And till she comes back you will be with me." Ansh said with a cheering smile and tickled her.

"Ansh how you know that?"

"Dadi told this yesterday and asked me to take care of you and Meetthi when she is not here and Papa is at work."

Anjali glared at Aarthi who entered the living room with a smile.

"Maa, you kept this Junior Gussa Zyada as our body guard? Huh. Unbelievable." Anjali gave her a look of disbelief.

"Arey, you know my Ansh is a good boy and he is very strong than you naughty girls. So I asked him to." Aarthi said with her hidden smile.

"An Bha, me you play hide hide in flowers. Yeeeyy" Meetthi said clapping her hands as she only understood that she will be staying with her Ansh Bhai for some more days.

"Yes Guddu, we can play. But now let's say bye to Nani." He said holding her hands.

Arnav came in and had a smile on his face seeing the way his son explained everything to his little cousin.

"Maa come. Car is ready. Mr & Mrs. Kulkarni will be waiting there in airport."

He took her luggage and headed out.

Aarthi kissed Ansh n Meetthi and waved her hands to them and left in CAR.

Aman Mathur, who just came to meet Aarthi at that time saw her leaving and had a serious face. He thought.

"I think the fate is playing against Khushi. God only knows now how to save her from Boss's clutches. Oh God do something."

He prayed looking to the sky.

There Devi maiyya who was cleaning her nails looked at Aman and said.

"Be patient. All izz well that ends Well. Your Boss only going to have tough time than Khushi." Devi maiyya said with her Evil grin.

Aman went from there nodding his head.

Here Khushi and Aditya were standing in the living room with their luggage.

Khushi and Aditya bent down to Buaji's feet taking her blessings.

"Titaliya, stay calm. We don't know about that person. So be careful. Parmeswar, take care of your Jiji. I know you would but I should say rite? And Titaliya, pls ask your chacha not to show his face very often. Hamein unke chehre dekhne ki konu shok nahi hain(I'm not interested in seeing his face)." She said with a angry face.

Khushi nodded and they bid bye to Buaji and left for the station. Khushi got a call from Ankit.

"Hello Ankitji."

"You started? Shall I come to station?" Ankit asked.

"No need, we reached the station and the train is ready to leave. I just wanted a favor." Khushi said with hesitation.

Aditya turned to her.

"Ankitji, please visit Buaji and take care of her. And help her. she will feel so lonely without us." She said with her trembling voice. Aditya had heavy heart seeing his jiji like this. Nice time his mobile started ringing and saved him from breaking down in public for his deeds.

"Ok Khushi, I will do that. But you don't forget to contact me if you need anything"

"Ji" was all Khushi could say. She turned to her side for Aditya. But he was not sitting beside her.

She ran her sight in all direction and at last found him a bit far.

He was fighting over the phone with someone. A smile spread on her face as she knew the person with whom her Nanhe was arguing.

"Sanaah,listen to me. You don't have to meet me there. I know that your internship is also in Shimla. But I dono how my workplaceis going to be. And don't ask me for the address because I cannot give you that. Now like my good baby, cut the call and start packing your things from hostel. If you start today only you will get everything ready for your leave day after tomorrow. Good night. Love you. Bye."

Khushi giggled seeing him talking. Aditya turned back and his face started going pink.

"Arey, don't feel shy. I have spoken to Sanaah. Vese Nanhe. What is her full name?" she asked scrunching her eye brow.

"Sanaah Mathur"

"Nice. Ok chaliye. Train has arrived." They got the train.

Train started moving taking them towards their destiny.

It was early in the morning when they reached Shimla. Aditya rubbed his sleepy eyes and checked his watch for time.

It showed 4:30 am MON

"Aditya, chaliye, lets go. Get a rickshaw for us. You have the address with you rite?"

Aditya nodded his head and went to find rickshaw. He was upset. His Jiji informed him yesterday that hereafter she will call him Aditya and not Nanhe as it wont sound nice in a work place.

Aditya came with a rickshaw and they left for AR.

Khushi got down from the rickshaw and pulled Aditya and their luggage out. They settled the rickshaw and stared at their new work place. Khushi took a long breath and headed towards the reception. But she failed to notice that a pair of fierce eyes was following her.

Arnav Woke up and went to his suit window. It was his daily routine. He used to stand by the window for some time as soon as he wakes up and then go for jogging. Today when he did the same the scene in front of eyes was unbelievable.

He saw Khushi jumping from the rickshaw. She was wearing a beautiful sky blue faded jean and a white full length sleeve top. When she jumped out, he hair which she left free jumped along with her and produced waves as it settled down.

"What The. Khushi you look the same even after 3 years. This charm of yours only get many men to fall at your feet right? I will break your ego this time."

He said with his devilish smile.

He took his mobile and called Aman.

"Aman, our Mehmaan arrived, get ready for the Mehmaanawazi (Welcome)." He said with a grin and hung the call.

Aman who was in his half sleep opened his eyes fully with a jerk and grasped what his boss said.

"Hey Devi maiyya. Hope that bichari doesn't suffer much. My boss is like a bull when he is angry." He prayed folding his hands and rushed to take bath and do arrangements for the work of Gupta's.

Devi Maiyya who was holding her alarm bell ready to wake her Sleeping Bhagwan ji listened to his prayer and dropped the bell on the bed waking bhagwaan ji ultimately and slapped her forehead.

"This Mathur doesn't have other works. Early in the morning what is with him.

Aman beta, if your Boss is a Bull then my Bitiya Khushi is a Bull fighter. You just watch the Bull fight and Enjoy." She said showing her hand in dramatic way only to be pulled by Bhagwaan ji with an angry glare.

Here on earth

Khushi n Aditya were treated like worms when they approached the reception. They were given rooms in Ladies and gents quarters separately. Khushi was shocked to find the room which was dusty and had one cupboard and a stingy cot which will never fit her. Before she could recover from this shock, Sheetal came to her with the head of Cleaning staffs.

It was 6:30 am by then.

"here you, she will explain your job, change to this dress and start your work." She said to Khushi with disgusted look and left the place. Khushi was bewildered with the shocks she is receiving.

The head explained her about cleaning floors and walls once she came after changing.

Khushi was taken aback by the work given to a graduate. But she remembered the condition and started cleaning the floor. But suddenly something hit her mind. She called her head and asked about Aditya's work.

"Arey you don't know? He is sweeping the dry leaves around the cottages behind this building. See from this balcony. You can see him." She said shaking Khushi's world. Khushi rushed to see her brother and was shocked to see him with the tall broom struggling with it and sweeping the leaves. He was getting scolding from the male head for not working properly. Khushi's heart pricked seeing it.

"What are you doing there without doing your work. It's a very disciplined place and Don't lay your lusty eyes on any men here."

Sheetal warned her. Khushi was now like a volcano. She put down everything and rushed to MD room.

Aman who saw her storming tried stopping her.

"Leave me I want to See the MD here." She said impatiently.

"I am the general manager here Ms. Gupta. Tell me your problems. It wont be right for you to talk to boss directly now."

Khushi glared at him. Her eyes were literally spitting fire along with tears.

Aman had to Oblige. He left her n boss to deal with and saw the sky once.

There Devi Maiyya was gave her devilish grin.

Khushi entered the room with Name plate MANAGING DIRECTOR. But the poor girl forgot to notice the name.

She stormed inside

"What do you think of yourself? Just because of your condition, we cannot be given such works. You made us cleaning staffs. Damn you and your agreement. Do whatever you can. I am taking my brother and leaving from here. He is a chef. Not a road sweeper. Got it? She yelled at the Back of the person and turned to leave.

"Tsk tsk tsk. Only if you have a choice Gupta. Do you think I give choices?" he said and turned to her with his best devil face.

Khushi froze at that spot.

"ARNAV"

Was all managed to escape her mouth.
