*Madhu's POV*
Its been 20 hours since Rishub came back and he didn't talk to me after last encounter in my bedroom at night. Aunty told me he has gone out to meet his friends but just now i saw in facebook where his friend updated his status as "coming back from awesome trip in Goa" that means they aren't back yet. So why did Rishub come early? And he seems zoned out ever since. What happened there? My mind filled with all types of questions.
I was walking back to my room when yash called me.
"hey gonna skype Ranveer, wanna join?" he asked
"sure" i agreed
That will be much needed distraction.
"how ya dong?" Ranveer asked in his recently developed accent
"much better without you" yash teased.
"we almost forgot you exist " i joked
"mean " Ranveer glared
I giggled.
"So Madhu wats up with your romeo ?" he asked
" nothing much why?" i asked
"yeah?" Ranveer looked as if he was about to spill something he shouldn't tell me.
"should i be worried?" i asked
"not at all. I was randomly asking. So how is you preparation for final sem?" he asked
We began to chat casually but i have a gut feeling that Rishub and Ranveer know something that i don't. Rishub's secretive behavior and Ranveer's talks confuse me big time.
"what plans?" i asked yash once Ranveer went off line.
"i..." yash stammered pulling his hair
"oh shit. Its Thursday means your date night" i said remembering yash's date with his long time friend and now girlfriend Niki.
Unlike other two Khundras yash wasn't fast enough to approach a girl. After ten months of hesitance and my expert help he proposed to his present girl friend and today is their two month anniversary.
" I don't know how to make it special for her" he said
"Yashu you don't have to plan anything special if anything that ought to make things special for her then that is you. Make her feel special. " i said
" Wow. Madhu thats cool thanks " he said
After some words of confidence i walked back to my room. I guess i am good at these stuffs. I should write about this. Maybe release a book.
I was passing Rishub's room when i heard him speaking to someone. When did he come back? Why didn't he come to meet me? I was about to enter his room without knocking when i heard him talk.
"Why don't you understand? Its not easy for me" i heard him say in phone
" i have family here"
Who is he talking to?
"It is tempting for sure but i...i got a life here, i got a girlfriend " he said
Now i am really curious what is happening.
"I want to meet you " he said
Meet?
"okay see you " with that Rishub cut the call
He looked so frustrated and confused. He pulled his hair is annoyance and gulped a bottle of fresh juice. I silently went to my room.
Who was he talking to? Is she going to meet that person today? Is that a girl? But he was saying that he has a girlfriend. So who it could be?
I heard a knock before i could respond Rishub entered. His expression no different than what I saw in his room. He lay down on my bed with his head on my lap. I didn't talk anything.
"Barbie doll do you like films?" he asked
" Rishub i am in no mood to watch any movie " i said
"No i am not asking you that"he said
I narrowed my eyebrows at him.
"What is it Rishub?" i asked
"Who is your favorite star?" he asked
"what rubbish?"
"c'mon barbie doll "
"You know " i said
"Do you think Ranbir Kapoor has better life?" he asked
"You know what you have gone mad " i said
Pushing his head off my lap i walked to the common balcony. Rishub followed me and hugged me from behind.
"Barbie doll i will hardly pass in final sem i haven't prepare anything" he said
"is that what you are worried about?" i asked
He looked down
"Oh Rishub. Its fine. I know you are talented. I will do wonders in your life. Marks is not everything. You are my rockstar" i said.
"If i don't get a job that pays 50 thousand plus a month, if i am not able to afford you anything that you deserve will you be happy?" he asked
"of course Rishub. Where does all this come from? " i asked worried
The Rishub i know will not speak like this.
"If i become so popular and earn hell a lot of money but have zero time to spend with you will you be hapy?" he asked
I looked at him for brief second before i cupped his face and tip toed to kiss his forehead.
" Rishub i love you and whatever makes you happy will make me happy. Being together or away, less money or more money will not influence how i feel for you " i said
"Love you Madhu"he said
"love you too"
He bend down to place a quick kiss on my lips.
"Now will you tell me what is going on?" i asked
"what?"
"Rishub i know something is bothering you since you came back from Goa what is it?" i asked
" nothing barbie doll its just.."
"don't bother to lie. Whatever it is just tell me" i said
"barbie doll i ..." before Rishub could say anything his phone rang
"uff what is it with you and phone ?" i asked
"its important " he said
"than me?" i asked
"barbie doll i promise when i come back you will get answers for all your questions" he said

Three hours after i spoke with Rishub i realized i wasn't the only one who is going to get answers for the questions as i saw everyone gather in the living room. Aunty and uncle sat on the two seater sofa, Ishita was sitting in beam bag with crisps packet while yash was sitting near me with laptop on his lap from which Ranveer was witnessing the whole scene through skype. Rishub was standing in the middle as if he was some criminal and we were investigating him.
What the hell is happening? I asked myself.
"what is it?" uncle asked
"Before taking the most important decision of my life i wanted to consult with the important people in my life " he said
Important people-decision-life. This all seemed allien coming from Rishub's mouth. What is he up to?
"Is this some kind of a joke?" uncle asked
"dad when i was in Goa i met Mr.Jhoshi, a well known film producer " Rishub said
"and?" unclue encouraged
"and he wants to cast me in his film" Rishub said in a go.
"What?" that was invariable reaction.
"You are kidding right?" yash asked shocked
"I have never been this serious in life " Rishub said
We all looked at Rishub as if he had just told to kids that santa is a lie.
"I expect better reaction " Rishub said uncomfortable
"damn dude seriously?" Ishita chuckled
"so is it all about movie? All your wired behavior and those phone calls?" i asked
"what phone calls?" aunty asked
"Mr.Jhoshi was trying to convince me when i declined the offer, Today after noon i met him and now he will be joining us shortly " Rishub said
"here ? now? " all asked shocked
As if in cue the bell rang and we all looked at the door.
"i ll get it " yash said walking to the door
I have seen Mr.jhoshi couple of times in PG3 so he seemed familiar. He greeted everyone in friendly tone.
"Can we have this conversation more private ?" uncle asked.
After that he, Mr.Jhoshi and Rishub walked to the study.
"You already knew this?" i asked Ranveer
"yup " he said
"but Rishub never told me " i complained
"Remember i m his elder brother " Ranveer said
"whatever " i said rolling my eyes.
After some 30 minutes Rishub walked out with blank face and told aunty that uncle called her in.
"what happened?" ishit asked
" i don't know dad is talking to Mr.Jhoshi" mana said
" so will you be a superstar soon?" she joked
"i wish " Rishub mumbled
Thankfully i heard that and also didn't miss the glow in his eyes when he confessed that he was offered a movie. I realized that Rishub is actually interested in being an Actor. I wish aunty and uncle accepts it.
After some time all three came out of the study with a blank expressoion.
"so what is the verdict?" yash asked curiously.
" You are signing the film tomorrow after a screen test " uncle said looking at Rishub smiling
"wow...thanks dad " Rishub immediately hugged him
Thank god. After hugging his parents and telling them how much he loves them Rishub came to me.
"Congratulations " i said smiling
"you are happy with this,right? It as much as involves you " he asked
"of course i am happy. Now i can tell everyone my boyfriend is an actor " i said beaming
"love you barbie doll " he said hugging me
"ufff cut on that PDA " Ishita commented as we broke the hug.
"Now i can't even swear at my would-be sister -in-law" Rishub complained
"congooo " Ishita shouted hugging Rishub followed by yash
Everyone was happy and the moment easily made it to the top 10 happy moments of my life. Rishub genuinely looked content on becoming a star and i wish him all happiness.

IMPORTANT NOTE
A couple of updates before i asked if i should start a second season and many had answered yes. At that time i had a concept in mind and was excited to write but now when i go deep inside it i feel it might ruin the actual love that you have towards Barbie doll and moron Khundra.I just want you to remember them for how lovely and adorable they are. I don't want to ruin anything in the story. So i am just gonna give more updates about their life in tit bits (maybe some two to three updates) before i end it. I want it to stay as one CUTE love story without drama and anything cliche. Instead i will start a new story and want you all to share any ideas on what type of story you want to read.
