Rani in talaash

Since the forum is flooded with kitty/dippy topics I thought of singing paeans in honour of Rani Whom I absolutely adore for her versatility and range,her face is a map of expressions and no one can beat her in terms of enlivening a character ..she has done it all with elan and panache..from playing an angel to a courtesan .it's sad that the films she chose to do cheater her at the BO and her personal life made her look like a bitch but no one can deny her talent.Particularly I was blown away by the depth and approach towards her character in talaash,as a grieving mother hoping to reconnect with her son😭 and revive the long lost happiness in her family..she was terrific and absolutely mind blowing.her role was not author backed and she didn't have audience-friendly dialogues but still the pain and pathos in her eyes was so evident..In bombay talkies too my heart went out to her..want to see more of her .Also she is to be blamed for always dissappearing from the limelight and nixing magazines for giving interviews coz she knows what she will be quizzed about.She deserves much more..😭 BTW.Congratuations to her for winning SAIFTA best supporting actress for Talaash👏

Rani is a superb actress who just made wrong decisions by sticking to YRF movies only--at one point. She was brilliant in Talaash. In fact, I found both Kareena and Rani better than Aamir in Talaash.

Well she was absolutely brilliant in talaash but the role she played was a little vague... I couldn't connect to her character but she is so talented she deserves all the praise

but there r mothers who lose their children in an accident/mishap..and i have observed one of them closely in my life..happiness is sucked from their lives.sullen grief stricken teary faces..forced smiles .they behave like a zombie who is merely living because there isn't any other option..and i found that similarity in rani's act..

yes that was very realistic in her acting but the way it was shown in talaash was so vague... she was not given a proper scope to show it
