Ameesha convinces Dev that the kundali was speaking the truth and if someone comes to Dev's life with true love then danger will be decreased slowly from him. Dev tries to understand what was being said, his was confused at the same time keyed up that he would be able to marry Kaajjal when Ameesha discloses the bitter truth. She says that to save Dev, Kaajjal will have to put her own life in danger, Dev stares at her speechless. The Sidh baba is shown where he says that if someone loves Dev madly and is ready to sacrifice everything in his love then the shani dasha will move away from Dev and start haunting the girl, which will lead her to death.
Dev is in tears as he could never give Kaajjal death as a gift rather he would accept it open arms. Ameesha is happy that finally her plans were succeeding. She emotionally says that she was trying her best to save Dev, infact Veer had arranged poojas so that the danger drives away but everything was useless and Dev was about to die. She pleads Dev to keep it as a secret and not reveal it to NT as she will not e able to take it.
Dev is totally broken; he was so powerless that he just couldn't relate his bleeding heart to anyone. His destiny was written with pain and sufferings and finally it was coming to an end. He thinks that he had always distressed his mom, but his mom kept on praying for his happiness. He says that he could never understand his mom's sentiments nor her unrestricted love for him and now he will not make her suffer any more, before he leaves the world he would give all possible glee to his mother who had always supported him through thick and thin and had layed her hand of blessings on him. He says sorry to his mom photo which was placed nearby.
Just then NT enters from the temple. Dev is unable to control himself and like a little child goes and hugs his mom, he asks for apology and says that he had always caused her pain and from now on he wants to see his mom happy. The hug was so touchy, as if Dev was trying to forget his pains hugging his mom, under her warmth all his sorrows transformed into love. NT is shocked by his sudden change in Dev and Dev asks that if he was allowed to hug his mom. NT is surprised and says that it was his rights to hug his mom none can grab that right from a son. Dev tries to smile hiding his sorrows that kept on stabbing him from within. He finds kaajjal behind NT and stares at her totally lost. Those beautiful moments came fresh inront of his eyes and he thinks that he loved Kaajjal madly but their relation had no future, and kaajjal will have to forget him as he was just for few days in the world. They couldnt take off their eyes from each other, everything came to a hault finally two lovers came face to face, NT stood their smiling to herself. She could see the uncondistional love for kaajjal in Dev's eyes and she prays to see them in wedding outfits soon. Finally the silence broke and NT asks Kaajjal and Dev to have a talk while she hurries to get tea.
Dev says that he knew that his mom wanted kaajjal to be with him therefore she left them alone but it was not possible and never will. He will never put Kaajjal's life in danger, there will never be thronn in her life, and she will always be showered with happiness that's what he wishes for. Kaajjal asks about his other family members to which Dev says that they all went out. Kaajjal says that she knows whatever happened with Dev was not right, but she could never get the chance to talk to him about it nor had the guts. Dev is amazed as he thought that kaajjal was talking about his kundali. Kaajjal says that everything has to come to an end and it was God's wish to payal to him, but she says that the grief of her death cannot be so big than the sweet moments spent with her. When Payal will see Dev from heaven she will curse herself, she will be hurt to see her much-loved still shedding tears and leading a life like a dead man with no hopes. She says that life was too short and one has to decide whether to lead it without any interest or spreading happiness so that after he leaves the world people remembers him.
Dev says that he never knew that behind the beautiful face there was a beautiful heart which had so much concern and love for everyone around. He silently thanks kaajjal for showing him a new way to lead the last few days of his life. He knew that he will have to smile not for himself but his dear ones who always prayed for his happiness. He wishes if he could give kaajjal a bit of smile when Dhruv calls up Dev. Dev thinks that Dhruv was the one who would keep kaajjal happy forever. Dhruv says that he was going crazy for kaajjal, and was unable to think of anyhing else other than Kaajjal. He had got a gift for Kaajjal but he had no clue she would like it or not. Dev interrupts and asks him if he could sacrifice his life for kaajjal. Dhruv says that if Kaajjal smilingly asks or his life he would happily give it to her, Dev is contented that Dhruv was the one made for kaajjal. He ensures that whatever Dev would take from his heart Kaajjal will accept it happily, he asks him to come to his house as Kaajjal was there.
Kaajjal insists to go as her family will be worried but Dev asks her to wait as there was no work at the office; NT is happy and convinces kaajjal to stay back. Bua calls up kaajjal to ask if she was coming home or not as satya will be worried to see her absent. Kaajjal says that she was at dev's house and she will be leaving for home soon. NT asks Dev to drop kaajjal home as it was getting late.
In the car Kaajjal asks Dev is he was upset by her lectures but Dev denies and asks her to call him Dev, just then he stops the car all of a sudden and his photo topples over, NT is worried that her son might be in danger. Their car came to a hault and dev got down repairing the tyres. A truck was heading towards them, kaajjal sees the lorrey coming with great speed towards dev, the kundali is shown in the back ground, and when the lorrey is near to dev she screams loud.
