I have checked with the DT. Spamming is prohibited on the thread. That means chatting between members unrelated to the story, or posting of pictures & such things. But readers wanting to comment on the story can do so without their warning levels getting raised. Old readers & new readers both.

This is the DT told me when I asked her about it:

If readers are catching up and commenting on the story, that's OK. But it is not permitted if all members are doing is chatting for no reason.

So, just abide by the rule & if you still have anything to SAY about SAY, that will be fine.
