| Kashish weds Sujal, finally | ||
| ||
| And now the bad news. With this, the show will see a happy ending on February 16 this year. The next few episodes will give the audience a nice recipe full of twists and turns coupled with happy and sad incidents. Jam-packed with all the drama, romance, action and intrigue, the show will end when it completes more than 800 episodes in a successful span of five years. | ||
| Another interesting aspect of the show is that it is one of the few soaps from the Balaji camp that will have a closed ending, without being pulled off-air abruptly. | ||
| The show has had many ups and downs with its continuous run. There was a sudden jump in the TRPs on several occasions such as - (that was my most hated part of the story.........i hate it when kashish left my sweeto and married piyush......bechara sweeto kitna roya tha...oh i sooo hated those parts.........i couldnt see him in sooooooooooo much pain ), (poor darling rajeev.....we were all soooooooooo sad he quit the show), Charu confessing her love for Sujal, Swayam wrecking havoc in the lives of the Garewal family... the list is unending. It won several awards at the coveted Indian Telly Awards and the Indian Television Academy Awards. The show also saw the entry and exit of leading actors, the most popular one being Rajiv Khandelwal😉, whose on-screen chemistry with Kashish, played by Aamna Sharif😛, attracted eyeballs for a long time even after he quit the show(😳 their chemistry😳 still attracts many eyeballs😃...........they r simply the best😛..............they rock😊!!!!!!!!!! what say DON gang members). Later, the entry of Vikas Sethi, Tinu Anand, Iqbal Khan and most recently, Rohit Bakshi also contributed to its success.( ya maybe these people also contributed a bit to the show..................but the show became what it is because of rajeev and for many of us the show also finished with rajeev,atleast for me it did........i havent seen a single episode of the show after rajeev quit.......even aamna's presence on the show cudnt make me watch it ) | ||
| Says Shipra Arora, creative head of the show: "This is the only show that has gone beyond 800 episodes without a leap. It's difficult to carry forward a show like this and it is a great achievement." On the two protagonists, Arora says, "Kashish is a real character, someone people can relate to. Sujal, on the other hand is someone any woman would like to fall for." | ||
| She feels the time has come to end the show on a good note as it should not sound bored or monotonous. "We want to make the audience believe that relationships can achieve perfection which will be the feel-good factor," she adds. | ||
| Both Kashish and Sujal have sweet memories from the show they would cherish for a long time. Says Aamna Sharif, who plays Kashish: "Playing Kashish has been the most wonderful experience of my life helping me grow as a person. I was apprehensive initially, but today I'm proud that I'm a part of it". | ||
| On her role she says, "She's very much like the traditional Indian woman who knows and fulfils her responsibilities. She is headstrong and loves her family." | ||
| For Gurpreet Singh, essaying the role that was identified with Rajiv Khandelwal for a long time has not been easy, but he still managed to pull it off (oh...really........maybe thats y the show is ending.............no no..wat maybe........ofcourse thats y the show iz ending.....bcoz no one can replace rajeev........he's better than the best). luv, vandana😉 | ||
