The actress has auditioned for Sooraj Barjatya's next.

The search for Salman Khan's leading lady in Sooraj Barjatya's next may have just ended with Nargis Fakhri. Mirror has learnt that the actress recently met the filmmaker and has auditioned for the role. A second round of auditions followed and Nargis is close to bagging the role.

A source close to the development told the newspaper, "Initially, the makers were in talks with Diana Penty but the talks eventually faded out. Then Madras Cafe released and the important players from Sooraj's office liked her performance. It was then decided to narrate the script to her and organise an audition."

Salman's schedule is choc-a-block and Barjatya's movie is likely to go on floors in the second half of next year.

The source added, "As for Nargis, she is hoping she bags the role as it's a big project with Salman Khan returning once again in his popular character Prem. However, an official announcement will be made soon."

Well don't know, but one source said that Salman Khan might have a double role she could be paired with one of him (or have a small part). Or maybe Salman Khan could have two heroines in the film...Anyways, fingers crossed for it! I'm sure it will change history like Hum Aapke Hain Kaun !

What happened to Illeana I thought she is finalized. She spoke about working in this film in an interview. Ye kya ho raha hai 😕
