Saying this, she picked her bags and left. After some moments , Uday heard the car start and then drive away. He just sat on the sofa, his hands supporting his head, His world had crumbled around him! And the irony was ... he , himself ; dug his own grave!
"Ya", Uday irritatedly answered his phone. "Daddy - it's me", came Tanisha's reply.
"Hey sweet girl , how are u ... where are u?"
"I'm at grand-dad's house with mommy. Mommy says we'll be staying here from now on ... why is she saying that? I want to stay with both of you , in OUR house", she sobbed.

"Sure honey", Uday told but in fact was lying to the child. Their fight was no where TINY , neither would a simple SORRY , bring his family back home!
"Bye Daddy ... love you", she wished him happily.
Uday was having his second drink when the calling bell rung. "Was it arthi and tani?" His heart raced thinking that they were back. He rushed to open the door, only to find Jaggat outside. He felt depressed.
U: hi Jaggat, what brings you here?
J: I just came to ask you some questions, you know routine investigation. Since Akash's murder I never got the time!

J: the house seems so silent and empty, where is Arthi and Tani?
Uday did not know what to say, but he said: They went to her parents home. tani wanted to see her grandparents (he managed)

J: Do u know any MANYATA?
Uday was shocked, how did he know about Manyata? What should he say? Maybe he should lie, yes! He would lie

J: let me refresh your memory, you and your 4 friends were involved in a case some 17 years ago. The charge was that all four of you raped Manyata and left her to die in the auditorium. However within a week after the case was filed it was withdrawn and you four were left free!
Uday gritted his teeth: what does THIS INCIDENT have to do with Akash's murder? And let me make myself clear, we never knew the girl, we were just framed, I swear I never ever did anything.
J: Uday!! Chill!! I just was trying to make a list of all the people who would want to kill you four. I never said that you all did it, did i?
U: ya you are right
J: so do you know where Manyata is now?
U: how would I know, I never saw her after that incident.
J: so can you tell me what really happened?

She tried to force herself on us, we never were such kind of guys who went behind girls, we all told her off, she then filled a case against us, because we never gave her what she wanted. God saved us, otherwise do you think we could walk free?

As jaggat left uday , he smiled, uday , even after 17 years, I can see the guilt on your face, however hard you try to hid it. now I am sure you really did rape manyata. Humph... you know an awful lot Uday ...and yet u say u don't know any Manyata!

Kut, kut kut kut ... the sound was so loud , that although it was coming from down-stairs ... Uday felt it was hammering on his head , whilst he was still in bed. He pulled the pillow over his head , but the torment continued. Someone was knocking on Uday's front door and was adamant about getting into his home today. In full aggression , Uday walked to the door and flung it open...
"Hi sir", Jai grinned flashing - not only her teeth , but other assets too!
"What do u want?" , Uday barked at her.
"I found out that you're staying ALONE now , so I thought ... you'll be needing someone to cook and clean ... and keep house for you!"
Before Uday understood her words , she moved pass him and made herself comfortable inside. "Shall I make breakfast for you?" , she quickly took out an apron from her bag and began tying it around her waist.
"Get out!" , Uday ordered and pointed to the door. "But ... but , you must be hungry", she flirted trying to push her upper torso onto him and Uday caught her double meaning dialogue when he noticed her lack of bodice.
"Jai , get out of my house ... I have a house-keeper, AND I'm NOT HUNGRY!" , he grabbed her arm and pulled her till they reached the door , where he pushed her out! "And 1 more thing Jai ... don't bother coming to the office , EVER AGAIN"
