Olaaa Shilpa di!
Honestly speaking, I haven't watched Arjun for over 3 weeks now😵😭... But (like your last post on friendship), am kind of getting an idea of what's happening in the show🤔...

And now to the post, well I personally feel there should be no difference in rules for anyone, as it creates partiality in society... So yeah this is hypocrisy at it's best...

In example (this might be a bit extreme, well really extreme), it's like saying a person who takes bribes is different from a police officer who takes bribes... No it's the same thing & both should be punished equally... did i make sense🤔??

If what that guy did (forgot his name😆) is unacceptable & arjun did the same... Then, it should not be tolerable at all... arjunians shouldn't become blind when it comes to the show (blunt i know, but the truth)

That's all from me... Anyways, see you in your next post😃

PS: I just went to pg 9 (hailla the CAPS, my poor eyes) & WOW! Aren't you popular didu?? lolz, "doodh ki dhuli"🤣.. made me laugh... honestly speaking, no one is "doodh ka dhula"😉

Hello everyone!i have been a silent reader all along, but could not stop from making this post. So here goes my first post on IF.

I quite understand and agree with most of what has been said here. However, I find it hard to associate hypocrisy with Arjun(which maybe because of hypocrisy on my part😉)I personally feel that Arjun was established as a flawed character from the very beginning. His barging into the ministers office and banging his head was certainly not in compliance with the law! Moreover he did not join the ETF for any altruistic reasons-he was promised Sikander. Now what can be more selfish than a brilliant cop not wanting to utilise his expertise in the service of the nation unless it serves his personal agenda.?But surprisingly this did not prevent me(maybe us) from admiring, adoring and loving him. I guess we were drawn into his world of anguish to an extent that it became a part of us and thus we were so busy sympathising with those haunted eyes that we forgot to question its morals. And I don't quite want to change that now...my weakness!!Coming back to the issue...though the word hypocrisy has been defined here,I would rather perceive his actions as a conflict in character which is a part of almost all great tragic heroes. If I remember my drama lessons correctly,it's called Hamartia. A brilliant hero with a central flaw which leads to his destruction.

As I usually refrain from making moral judgments I will not try and justify his actions. But if I understood his moral stance correctly he always said that no crime for whatsoever reason should go unpunished. And his reckless attitude shows that he doesn't and would not seek pardon for his "mistakes". He surely does not expect to go unpunished by the law. Thus, I do not see him disrespecting the law which he preaches everyone to adhere to. His sermons at the end establish that his ideals are in place,he has moved away from them. And that is his inner turmoil..the conflict of knowing what is right yet not able to do it.

And honestly speaking after having your wife killed before your eyes, her murder not brought to justice, your friend shunning you, your department not believing you...years spent in desperation, rage, loneliness and pain..I find it commendable that he is still holding on,still able to focus on getting justice for strangers, still able to withstand. Though we don't know the whole story , a police officer usually loses loved ones when he stands up for his ideals refusing to give in to the criminals. If that's the case here then I all the more admire the fact that he still has idealism left in him!

I should rather end my long rambling by saying we are right in having questioned his moral credentials..for they certainly are questionable. But maybe we forget that this is a human being we are talking about. And if he has managed to become more than that in our eyes, then we should be applauding the makers of the show😊

The murder of a loved one and the pain that comes with that is just the same for everyone whether it is a wife or a husband or father or mother or child...it doesn't matter if the person is a common man or police officer or president...
So when I watched saturday's episode, I kept asking myself the same question...whatever Arjun was telling, doesn't it count for him as well???
