Phata Poster Nikhla Hero is touted to be Shahid Kapoor's comeback film given that in last 7 years he has only 3 successful films to his credit. To his rescue is the Veteran director Rajkumar Santoshi at the helm of affairs who marks his return as a director after the runaway Hit Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani (2009).

Pritam is the composer for this film with lyrics by Irshad Kamil & Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Overall, this album meets the heightened expectations as Pritam delivers another album after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' that can be safely categorised as the best of the lot that we have this year. A must for all the music lovers out there. Strongly recommended!!!
