I'm not justifying Asad. He was wrong on numerous occasions. However, like you said, he had a foundation for that blind trust. Zoya, on the other hand, is doing this just to rile Asad up. She sure (sorry for the reality check for all Zoya worshippers) is not acting like an indepedent girl from the states. An independent girl from the states has a sense of self preservation, which this nitwit is clearly lacking.
All I'm saying is that this post was much needed. I'm starting to think that Zoya has lost substance because she's now an empty vessel whom people vicariously live through. And because these people "connect" with her so deeply, they let their indignation cloud their comprehension of her shortcomings. And that's just sad.
