Ok, I know i'm supposed to be rooting and praying for Nikhil and Laajo, but after watching today's episode i've fallen real hard for Nishana. I mean, I can't picture Nikhil with anyone other than Ishana, not even Laajo (who I love a lot, but as an individual character). They just don't click for me the way Nishana do. The chemistry between Nikhil and Ishana, the way they portray their emotions, the undying love between them even after Laajo's entry...they were meant to be. Plus, I really won't have the same respect that I have right now for Nikhil, if he ends up falling for Laajo. Please, don't let this be another shaadi-se-pehle-ajnabee-shaadi-ke-baad-mohabbat and doosri-aurat-vs-bhaarti-naari type drama serial. It sure hasn't started out that way, and I for one am loving it.

When I read the concept of the show, I thought I would be firmly on Laajo's side, but watching today, today was my first day watching this show, I can see the Nikhil Ishana bond, so I don't know which side to pick. 😕.

Nikhil is acting very much like an adult and not shirking his responsibility towards Laajo, I don't know what will happen, will he fall for her and forsake Ishana as the show moves forward? That's the cliche you explained, or will they introduce another male parallel lead later on for Laajo? Or perhaps Nikhil will start feeling slight pangs of jealousy when another guy comes along and then they will stick with the cliche after all or what about Ishana as well will she get tired of waiting for Nikhil, and suddenly get a longing to either travel somewhere or do her further study elsewhere perhaps, thereby freeing Nikhil by meeting someone else herself?

I don't know what will happen...I guess we have to just keep watching to find this all out. But i'm not picking a side, both girls are good in their own way.

I really love the bond between Nikhil and Ishana too, but my darling, Rab ne bana di jodi.
By the way falling for Laajo will not be soon or sudden. it may take years before he gets over Ishana. Maybe something major will happen which will take away Ishana from him...and his whole focus will be on Laajo creating a bond of friendship which will later lead to love.

Nafs - so great to see you here!

I love that the show has created this ambiguity and dilemma for us - we cannot pick sides and in such a situation in real life it would be impossible to pick sides either. I do hope that if Nikhil decides to go with Laajo, the change of heart has a very plausible basis (Ishaana deciding that Nikhil is off-limits since he's married or something of that sort).

As it stands now, it's clear that Nikhil and Ishaana are very much in love with each other and though Nikhil is well aware of his moral responsibilities towards Laajo, his heart still belongs to Ishaana.

Well said. I feel so bad for all 3 of them. Stuck in this situation thru no fault of their own😭. Nikhil out of the goodness of his heart couldn't leave Lajo in the lurch, can't blame Lajo for not going thru with the 1st wedding to those $$ hungry folks and as for Ishaana, poor girl must be devasted. Here she is bringing a prezzy to her bf and finds out he's married...😭 I feel truly bad for all 3 of them.

Agree with you guys, feeling bad for all three of them, and according to the concept Nikhil is supposed to fall for Laajo I know that. But I just can't think about Nikhil and Ishana growing apart, my heart does not and cannot accept it😭 this is going to be one painful journey...

Nice post, I was so sad seeing Ishana-Nikhil in pain yesterday, they are so in love with each other & make a cute pair. it's really sad 4 both of them as well 4 Lajjo. 😔

We can't blame any of them, but the mentality of some people & it's not only hard 4 Nikhil but 4 Lajjo as well, as she's married 2 someone with whom she won't share any relationship or won't be accepted by his family, it's also hard to adjust 2 the city's lifestyle.

Wonder how will Lajjo allow 2 Nikhil to maintain his relationship with Ishana & wanna see the people's reaction 2 it & of course waiting 4 LaKhil's friendship.

I know that we supposed to be rooting for lajjo and nikhil but honestly I see more chemistry between nikhil and ishana. They are so adorable together, they just look so perfect together. On the other hand the friendship between Nikhil and Lajjo is really cute to watch on-screen but seeing them as a couple is just a big NO NO :(

Agree yaar, totally agree! But if the CV's go with the tried and tested route, there's no stopping the nikhil-laajo romance 😔
