They are making zoya characters extr a stupid and asad super mature

Asad is an old fashioned guy. I know guys like him. Mostly from Sri Lanka where my family comes from. There are guys there,who think all females in their care or their household (be it a houseguest) is their responsibility.

My uncle was like Asad. (In that sense). I understand what it is like to be at the receiving end of what Zoya is getting now. I could totally relate. When I was in my late teens / early twenties..I would go from New Zealand to Colombo, to visit my relatives during University breaks. Sometimes I would go without my parents. My relatives would act like this. Constantly on your back. I was from a western country,where women are able to move around more freely and more safely. I used to find all these restrictions VERY annoying. I used to react like Zoya. So I understand.

I also understand that Asad is mad at Zoya for going off to see Dhoni at the time of a transport strike and then getting a ride from a stranger! As a mature adult I get where he is coming from. But at Zoya's age even I thought I knew SO much better and everyone around me was overreacting! Today's episode was like a ride in a time capsule for me. Took me back to a time when I was acting like Zoya and even talking like her sometimes!! :) (especially that line of hers that Mr Khan thinks that HE is the only good judge of character and that SHE has no sense according to him)!! I used to say the SAME thing about my uncle!!

U were a teenager 😛 ... I expect teenagers to act like that... But Zoya is a grown up! Abt to get married... I would resent any1 telling me what to do n whom to speak to n so on..., but receiving red roses frm a near stranger is a red flash abt how the guy is... U don't hold hands to give an earring back ! N still she thinks he is a decent guy?!

What irks me the most is they portrayed zoya as an,impulsive but smart girl, now it just feels like she is stubborn...
