ON THE WAY TO HOSPITAL:
Jagya and Ganga both were embarassed as much as possible. But at the very moment ,her fears were overshadowing her feelings.Right now her mind is spinning around the mobile which is in a switch off mode. Ratan Singh is controlling her mind sitting miles away from her. Mannu after playing with radio fell asleep in his momma's lap.
He looked at her. She was looking out of the window. He stopped the car. "Why din't you tell me anything about it?"
Ganga couldn't utter a word out."Does he know anything about ratan n his threats.. No.. its impossible.. Is he talking about Ratan.. will he help me?" she thought to herself. Lots of questions were running in her mind regarding that small question he asked.She just looked at him with a blank face.
"See.. I have just come to know about Sanchi's misbehaviour towards you."he asked her in a low yet stern voice.
She looked the other side breaking the eye-contact.. she was teary eyed.. For one second, she thought he know about Ratan's threats n help her out. "How did i expect him to know about it.."she thought n wiped the tear which was about to roll down her cheeks n cursed herself for being silly.
She said,"No.. its nothing like that Dr.saa ,sanchiji..".. he cut her sentence.. '' She doesn't deserve 'ji' at the end of her name.., just call her sanchi." he said..
"Ok. sanchi is irritating but not bad.. she loved you.. n thats the reason behind her weird behaviour towards everyone. "she said..
"Love.. my foot.. she doesn't love me. I am not serious but now at this instant if I go to her n say 'I Love You' then she will run to her family n say.. 'Anandi bhabhi is wrong' . I have seen her weird stares at us n stupid question about Anandi during Sankranthi.." every word his voice just raised.. and his face was turning red due to anger..,"How dare she talk like that about anandi on that day.. and now she is after you.."
Ganga tried to calm him down.."Look Dr.saa , you are saying that sanchi is silly girl then why unnecessarily thinking about her. Lets stop this discussion here."she said looking into his eyes..
He shook his head. He looked at her , he expected her to leave a sigh of relief or some sign which with which he can conclude that her problem is solved but she was quite calm. ''Well what else have hid from me?'' he asked , she was surprise at this question she pretended to laugh and replied, "Hiding.., I am hiding facts,"she paused for a while..''nothing like that.
dr.sa. I thought this matter isn't worth to be shared, so i din't inform you thats it."
He was sure there is something else , something much bigger which she is not letting him to be approached in thoughts.."is it about Ratan Singh.." he thought to himself. "If it is about Ratan Singh why does she want to hide it from me?I have to find out what this fuss is all about? " with this random thoughts a small thought entered in his mind, "Why am i much bothered about her happiness? If she doesn't want to share.. shouldn't I be calm and let herself to sort the problem out. Why am i always thinking about her.. about her happiness. about her problems..? what has happened to you jagya?" he came out of the thoughts and looked at her . She was enjoying the old classic songs in radio. She smiled and he smiled back.
They reached hospital. Bhairon was discharged n all were ready to go. Shiv already left the place since he was called up for a meeting which was planned suddenly. Basanth was shouting at a man over the phone in a loud voice.
Jagya couldn't ignore why his tausa is shouting like that, "What has happened?"he enquired.. DS said, "We will talk about it tomorrow." . Looking at their tensed faces he decided to ask them later. He thanked Gauri.. wished her all the best for future and took her number for contact.. since he couldn't be attending her wedding .
Next Day , KB Haveli:
Early morining , Ganga woke up and took out the mobile .She looked at it dissappointedly.. she pressed every button.. it din't display anything.. "What should I do now? How would I know about his attack.. what about my challenge.."she rubbed her aching head with her palm .
She freshened up and made mannu to have a bath .She came downstairs . DS, Daddu ,Basanth , Jagya ,Shiv all were sitting in the hall sipping tea and seriously discussing about the matters of village.
Basanth as always talks in high voice even when one tries to ignore it one couldn't it,, "That's not the matter Maasa , this new Collecter is the worst thing ever happened to Jaitser.." he was saying.
'Hope atleast , the school and college lisence is approved , I asked about medical camp in nearby village.. he din't reply anything..Such a weird man he is.."Jagya said.
"I heard he has joined hands with Heth Singh regarding this railyway project , "shiv said disappointedly..
"I am at fault now, wish i hadn't asked CM to transfer Shiv to udaipur.." Daddu said , Shiv instantly replied," Daddu it is not about me. it is about the jaitser now. Hope this guy mend his ways.." .
"What shiv said is right.. Lets see if he changes or else we have to take this thing seriously if he crosses his limits." said DS.
Ganga was happy , "Dr.sa , Maajisa ,Tausaa everyone has their problems . I think i am right.. for not telling them about Ratan Singh . "she thought to herself.
Sanchi felt disgusted.., she din't return to the engagement venue rather she locked herself in her room. All her infatuation have faded down if there is something left is a tonne of anger towards Jagdish who rejected her.
KB ladies were so tired because of engagement hustle also were singhs.. last night whatever happened was a nightmare to them. The gents decided.. "Today we will get the food from outside.."said Daddu looking at the ladies.. all of them smiled.
"Lets go outside and have lunch.., I will call Aashima.."said Mahi.. "Ohoo no meetings n sheetings Mr.cricketer.." Daddu started his legpulling.
''Idea is good.. lets go out to any restaurent " said Daddu.
All were ready.. Jagya entered Ganga's room . He was surprised, she wasn't ready . "You aren't coming with us..?" he questioned.
"If you all go, who will look after kakusaa.."she replied. He was so touched.. she respects his parents his family . Respect for her doubled . "You go Dr.sa , I have already cooked kichdi for kakusaa , I will take care of him ." she said.
He left the room , "hmm I must go.. well i can stay too.. but what reason should I give?" he just looked at the mirror hung against the wall.. He smiled at his fresh cut near his forehead..
He fooled everyone acting as if he had a good head ache and also feeling weak . Sumi said him to take rest . Sumi had to go with them because ira said he want to introduce to some relatives on way.. looking at anandi's face she accepted.
Sumi asked ganga to take care of Bhairon after coming to know that ganga is not going out with them.
Lal Singh was surprised with jagya's sudden dizzinness n head ache.. he checked the power of medicines , they were of normal dosage tablets , he was acting fake.. he laughed like hell.
Someone else got the same doubt , its Ganga she asked infront everyone ,"But Dr.sa you were alright yesterday and even today you were chatting with all.." jagya gave her 'was it necessary to ask look' . She looked down..
Lal Singh said ,"Ganga sometimes it happens.. leave it." Jagya smiled at him ,Lal singh was trying to control his laugh.. he smiled back n left the room to have heartful laugh.He was happy for his friend.
All of them left... ganga was changing bandages and jagya was playing with Mannu.
