Chapter 10

It was a gloomy and dark morning the bright sun was crowded with dark clouds the fog had covered the entire hills , and a chill winter winds blew over the entire house , it had been a long time since morning crept but the darkness outside perused her to sleep for some more long hours , she was cold , as she shivered under the layers of blankets , he was downstairs preparing for the breakfast but watching the time pass he thought of waking her up , he went to her room and unlocked the door as he watched her there she , her face was all red as he observed her closer and found that she was cold , he put some more blankets on her but it hardly helped , now he knew that the only way to prevent her body temperature was falling to take her into his embrace , his body temperature was more than a normal human hence in such cold weather also he could walk without any sweater he tugged himself beside her and took her body into his embrace as she drew herself closer to him and feeling his warmth really helped her , uday was aware that manyata was not completely in her sense still the feeling of being so closed to her enlighten his heart as he took locked her hands with his , he looked out of the window as flashes of past came rushing down his way

FLASHBACK:

A week had passed since manyata was leaving her dream , mayur was the best boy friend she ever had , they were the most romantic couple , and now she even found her friends back but unknown to her the person she thought as a past was hovering over her , yes uday was there each moment observing her each action but he just needed her all alone in lantern hill to give actions to his plans but that was not what happened she was always accompanied by her friends or mayur ...each passing moment uday hated mayur being so close to manyata he was determine to take his revenge soon and his wishes were fulfilled when one day mayur planned to take manyata for a mid night drive to the lantern hill , here manyata unaware of the storm coming on her way was beautifully dressed in a black grown as she was aware of the auspicious occasion , mayur had called for a date as he wanted to propose to her for marriage and she had made a mental note to agree to it , as she went to her daimaa to take her blessing but felt a pinch on her heart as she saw her again with ashish photo she placed her head on her lap and said all lovingly

MANYATA: daimaa why don't you call him back when it hurts you so much to stay away from him? After all he is your son

VASUNDRA: no he is now too far from me to come back and I cannot go through hell all over again

MANYATA: WHAT DO YOU MEAN DAIMAA

She did not reply to the question just changed the topic and said

VASUNDRA: you must go mayur is waiting for you

She did not push the matter further and walked back towards the room just when her eyes fell on a crumbled piece of paper without vasundra taking notice she picked it up and sneaked to her room , she opened it , was dirty and looked really old as she managed to read through it

" I cannot live this life any more , when I was married to you I was totally isolated to this side of your so this is not fair on my part every day I cannot stay isolated and fear my life I cannot stay with a beast so I am going and taking my son too as I fear someday you will murder both of us out of your anger if I was intended to be your slave than why did you treat me so well I still curse myself for the day I saw you and was bound to you"

She finished reading and tear brimmed in her eyes she pity as she though like many wives her daimaa too suffered from domestic violence but only if she knew the depth of those words she did not get much of time to think as she heard the sound of the car she rushed as she saw him there with a black suit as he escorted her to the car the drive was long as it stopped in the hill top , there it was a perfect scenario with the moon light spreader all over the place as the soft music of the a romantic song started to play she looked at him as he took out a small blue box from his pocket and gave it to her , she opened it being all excited but all her emotions were drained away as it was empty she looked at him annoyed and he smiled at her she turned her face away filling up air in her mouth showing her anger like a little child he chuckled at her antiques as he said to her

MAYUR: you must be wondering where the ring is right.

MANYATA: indeed I am but I think you really have no plans to give it to me

MAYUR: how am I supposed to give you the ring after all you are wearing it the entire time

MANYATA: what nonsense I do not have it

MAYUR: aren't you wearing the rose I gifted you

MANYATA: indeed I am so

He took out the rose gently as he plucked the entire flower to show her a beautiful solitude stuck on it he took it out and slipped it through her figure as she blushed, she could feel him leaning in towards her face, and he tilting his head. He pressed his lips against hers. She closed her eyes to feel the magical moment .he opened her lips slightly. As she followed suit, he tried slightly varying the openness of her lips throughout the kiss. He explored the her lips and tongue a bit with the tip of his tongue. There was no rules; they just expressed their love for each other after kissing for almost ten second they broke apart with a peck in order to grab some breath , manyata looked elsewhere as she was shy to look into his eyes while he started the engine to drive back but they never returned as on the way back suddenly the car stopped , as they looked at each other in utterly confusion the head light showed a figure as the it drew closer the face was clear both were shocked it was none but UDAY , manyata felt her breath stopped as uday headed towards them his eyes looked bloodshot as he was angry and both of them got out of the car mayur being alarmed by his presence said

MAYUR: uday sir what happened I mean you here?

He roared at him like an animal , both were scared to death as manyata linked her hands with mayur arms , he marched and grabbed manyata hands and pulled her away from mayur while she kept screaming as he continued to drag her mayur had regained his confident and stopped uday and screamed at him

MAYUR: what the hell are you doing sir leave her alone?

He left manyata and caught mayur by his neck and held him high above in the air , mayur struggle for breath , it was so difficult for a normal human to have so much of power it indeed was what all feared as mayur finally gained to speak

MAYUR: beast

With that uday threw him away as he hit his head on a tree bunk and feel there fainted he looked at manyata and headed to her while tears fell from her eyes as she asked

MANYATA: who are ...you?

He looked at her and replied calmly

UDAY: I am ashish manyata your prince

MANYATA: don't you dare come close to me you beast

Suddenly those words of the letter hit her head and she solved the puzzle he was ashish which meant the letter referred to a real BEAST she was hell scared as she continued to look for ways to escape as he said to her

UDAY: why are you scared it is me manyata your love? Come along with me...

MANYATA: I can never come with you I will go to the town and warn everybody about you

She said as she ran off , her actions erupt the anger in him as he took the car and threw it off the hill while she ran as fast as her legs could take her but she did not succeed as she was caught by him

FLASHBACK ENDS

He looked down at her face, her body was much warm now and if he continued to stay then her body might become over heated so unwillingly he got off the bed and went out of the room while she lay there peacefully asleep
