I didn't think it was a problem to go...but she did it without really telling and also without being able to be communicated to and all alone..asad would never let her go by herself...she knew and did it anyway and then was indignant abt it...it's not safe in NY or in remote india for a girl to be on her own..alone...at night.

i agree zoya is representing today's independent modern women with guts and brain. but this is too much for a lover/brother/father to let her roam as she wish. she should follow "be a roman in Rome".

don't think zoya as a fictional character. think about the incidents happening in india. (delhi and mumbai incidents). everyone should be careful. giving lectures about being independent and modern doesn't work every time in real life.
