As in KS forum, we have seen different aspects of sisterhood displayed in the show itself. Here is a general outlook on the portrayal of this relationship coming from the sisters of KS.
Karuna - I don't know why, I am still a bit suspicious of her, maybe its my over-working brain or untrustworthiness in regards to Ekta. Nonetheless, I love this woman. The way she has stood up for Jai is more than Jigyasa has ever done for him as his biological sibling. Karuna took Jai's side when the backs turned to his face, she provided the supportive shoulder upon which he shed limitless tears, she was with him when he needed someone the most. Bless her!👏
Bani - Everytime life has brought crisis upon her, she has hidden the tears and smiled for the sake of her sisters. She sacrificed and was willing to sacrifice everything for the sake fulfilling the kasamh she had given her father prior to his death. Even after all Pia has done to her, literally destroyed her from the core, the lady has not yet uttered a word in defense. From that angle, I respect her alot. However, I fail to understand how she has not yet so much as raised her voice against Pia, let alone raise her hand at her. I think it is about time Mrs.Walia.
Rano - I don't know about this one either. I hate her for disregarding the health of her child, even if it were for her sister's sake. She said that she can go to any extent for the sake of Bani, but how can she overlook her baby? But I have to say, for all that she has said against Pia, I love her. Nevertheless, I hate her for saying "itna hi kaafi hai ke tumhe apne kiye ka pashtava hai Pia" She so readily gave in to Pia in that moment.
Jigyasa - After Ashwini left, Jigyasa's role has hit the dumpsters. We can pretty much do without Jaya's useless prancing. As a sister, she has proven to be selfish and essentially useless. She has never really thought about Jai despite all that he has done for her and her children. She didn't even trust him and thus went to the extent of black-mailing him. And what for? Dirty money?🤢
Billo Sharma - So long she has claimed to love her "munna" as her own son. Perhaps she had vowed to take care of him for her own sister's sake. From his smile she derived her happiness, from his tears her heart ached. But then she took a one hundred and eighty degree turn and ridiculed his very existence. She insulted him to no bounds and the purity of his tears dipped in sorrow were not enough to melt her stoned heart. Today, she finally gave into the truth. She kneeled before Jai's selflessness, his humanity, his love. She admitted "humse bahut bari galati hogayi". Will she prove to become more than just Jai's mother's sister. Is it now, that she will look upon the mirror and her eyes fall in shame at all that she has done? Will she accept her mistakes and correct them. For the sake of her sister?
Pia - the least said the better. A stigma to womanhood in general.
What do you guys think?
Cheers,
