Lost even the little respect that I had for Ekta's Ruqaiyya!

Hello people 😊

So yesterday, whn we saw the Jalal-Rahim & Ruqaiyya scene.. Whr Ruqaiyya was portrayed as a realistic woman, longing for someone to call her "Ammi Jaan" .. I really forgot all her vampish deeds & evilness for a while & empathized & sympathized with her.. Felt pity for her tht at least the motherly side of her z pure.. But alas! She again reverted me back to the old notions that I has reserved for her.. & after today, perhaps even worse on that front! 😔

Which woman(err, ideal woman) on Earth says that "Maa toh koi bhi ban sakta hai.. hum to Mariam-uz-zamani ban rahe hai" or something like that! [Anyone can become a mother,its not a big deal! I just wanna be Mary of this Era!] ..
It actually kinda damps the overall character of Ruqaiyya as a woman..& is a complete disgrace for the identity f women as a whole..

Its so unrelatable tht a woman who seemed genuinely upset of being childless in yesterday's epi has no repurcussions today..& all she wants z power & no rejoice f the fact f going to become a mother!

I totally blame the CVs for this as in this show, From starting till date, Ruqaigya has consistently been the most inconsistent character which has no flow & changes without any warning,the second one being Jalal. 😔

I know in reality Ruqu wasn't anything even near what z portrayed in JA serial & hence I mentioned "Ekta's Ruqaiyya" in the title..cuz she just transformed her into another Komolika of ABC serials! Do leave ur views guys..

hey sis.🤗 i totslly agree dats y i ws tellin u dat day ki i miss smiley sooo muchh.lavina is soo typical n ekta maiya kya kar rahi hai nahi pata...i hope ab ruku k misxarriage mei jhoda ka naam naa aye :(

I know right? .. I miss Smiley too.. And even I m worried about the same thing.. cuz going by Zee's tweets & MA's infuriated reaction on learning abt Ruqaiyya's pregnancy, thr are chances of MA plotting against Jodha for Ruqaiyya's abortion! :(

If Ms.Kapoor keeps a tab on real facts then, ...As Rukaiya wld gv birth to daughter who will die in infancy...and then JAs twins are to follow soon ...😊 though they too wl hv the same fate...😭
BUT then after lots of prayers ,to everyone's happiness, SALIM will be born to JA...and then a few more children...

But I m sure Ekta wnt portray the real story here, at least going by the spoilers/tweets its quite unlikely.. But in any case, I dnt want Jodha to be blamed for any mishap! :(

agree in ditto,even the eunuch asked her surprisely "to aapko maa ban ne ki khushi nahi hai?" to hell with the cvs,was it so necessary to make ruqaiyaa so vampish and add a dialogue like "ma to koi vi ban sakta hai"..really? what a shame..a mother always possess a motherly affection for her offspring despite how much cruel she be to the rest of the world..

Simi, I'd think that most here would agree with you...(both AKDHA supporters and not) They should not have had to ruin one character to portray Jodha as special (especially a real person who existed in history)...they need not have portrayed Ruqaiya as great as she originally was (since this serial is after all about Jodha Akbar)...but a bit more tenderness...like what we saw yesterday would be welcome by all...

i was feeling bad for ruqaiyaa first time in yest. scene when she had tears and wanted to become mom .But, then when she said mother anyone can become and I was like are you kidding me- she is back to old ways again.

I don't think even cvs are confused that which way they should go with ruq charatcer.

I only think people have sorta slowed down on the 'Why is Ruqs so evil' talk because people have started getting lost in the Parijat magic and the Ruqs see-sawing characterization doesn't allow us to understand if viewers are supposed to hate her, empathize with her or both...so I guess people are sorta only sticking to worrying about the main leads now...😆

Having said that, I still didn't like Smilie (though I liked those Ruq-Jalal scenes)...of the two Ruqs, I still prefer Lavina mainly because she has a royal air/aura when she walks about which Smilie just couldn't bring about...also, Smilie never had any expressions on her face.. I mean I felt that she didn't have it in her to portray a royal begum...she was good in kalyug but not here...

Also, if one notices - Lavina had good 'emotional' expressions yesterday and today till she decides to go into that lunatic-laugh-mode!

However, she still sits below the 'gorgeous' scale that Paridhi has now taken on😳

I must say that I agree with you about Smiley's expressionless stint on the show.. 😆..

I do like Lavina cuz she does have a royal essence in her to play the "Begum e khaas" but frankly speaking, her evil laugh is such a no-no for me! 😕 Its too OTT and apparently forced sort of! Tht z whr I miss Smiley cuz I believe she potrayed the "Grey" shade better 😊

And like u mentioned, I comply that I dnt understand why the Cvs had to completely butcher a character in order to make the protagonist prominent.. cuz in any way, Paridhi z always the show stealer with her irresistible beauty and amazing acting skills..

Hence, hamari aakhein sirf Jodha pe hi hoti hai chahe frame mein Ruqaiyya ho ya Salima.. 😳 .. Haan agar Rajat bhi ho toh thoda 50-50 ho jata jai 😉 😆

I just want to give u a hug for that 🤗 I am glad u aren't confusing this complete contrast of a character named EK's Ruqaiya with the Real Ruqaiya👏 who I am sure wasn't anything like this.

But what about the aam-janta. 😲 Not everyone takes up the effort to scroll up the pages to go through history and most of them end up believing these stories being shared through the mass media. 😒
