Actually this must be the only time when she closed his eyes, as Andhak's story is of Sat Yuga. What they showed last time, doesn't have any referance in Puranas.

I wish they were inspired by some good stuff we write. I remember during the earlier days they used to pick up, from our discussions, sometimes even made changes accordingly. Those writers were different. That phase had a pull & we were drawn to every epi. This forum was different then. Let them be happy in whatever they are doing now.😆

Actually, Ravan would have been Hiranyaksha's avatar, while Kumbhakarna would have been Hiranyakashipu's.

So if they show Hiranyaksha present at a time when Rama is already just married, that would mean what? That Narayan, who no longer is there in Vaikuntha/Ksheersagar, would have to somehow come back as Varaha to slay him? Or will Hiranyaksha be immortal?

Also, Mahadev & Parvati were both in a playful mood then - there were no warnings about any consequences from either. Parvati blindfolded him, and made Mahadev sweat, and the sweat droplets became an asura 🤣 He roared, and Mahadev asked Parvati, "Why are you roaring"? Parvati asked him to open his eyes, and they saw dear little Andhak.

I'm glad his blindness was permanently cured down the road. But I've never read of him having no principles. In fact, his cousin(s) - presumably including Prahlad - used to harass him, which is why he went to Brahma for a boon, got his sight, became all powerful and squelched those upstarts - Prahlad and everyone else 😆 It only started going south for him when he spotted Parvati but failed to recognize her.

In Jalandhar, they came up w/ a fictitious track about his family. They can do the same here, and this time, when Mahadev has him on his trishul, he can cry, "Why did you abandon me - why didn't you love me 😭🥺" Mahadev & Parvati can then disprove him by bringing him home.

At the end of the story, he's forgiven & becomes Ganadees. I hope they don't kill him here.

If Prahlad was his cousin, used to harras him, then his grand son Bali is already here since long in DKDM. Will Prahlad come now to harass this Andhak?🤣

But Andhak track though time line is totally messed would be more interesting to watch than the Ramayan track and u get Veerbhadra and Kaali dance of death in the end. 😎😛😆
