Hi DABH-ians!
As i was reading today's episode summary I just had thought about how this separation from RM is really good on multiple levels for Sandhya and Bhabo.
Bhabo's biggest problem or her biggest concern about Sandhya being too educated or becoming a working professional - IPS etc is that she will not be a proper homemaker. By spending time involved with the world outside, she won't have the time or the inclination to be the perfect homemaker - caring for members of the family, cooking, cleaning, etc.
We all know that Sandhya is a good person, she cares for members of her family, she's honest and noble, doesn't walk away from her responsibilities and is not conniving like Meena. However she's spent her entire time at her parent's place in her academic world - with no time or interest in homemaking activities. Likewise at RM - she's been guided by Bhabo - even in today's episode at the market she ended up copying Bhabo's grocery list verbatim - its probably coz she didn't have the sense to realize Bhabo is shopping for a family of 10 (Bhabo, Babasa, Vikram, Meena, Kahna, Mohit, Emily, Chavi, Chaturi, Chotu) and ideally she'd only need to buy 1/5 of Bhabo's list for herself and Suraj. So by being away from RM - Sandhya will have to figure out on her own, how to run a household, manage her time and make sure she gets her studying in.
Likewise I hope Bhabo also takes this time away to realize, how caring and honest Sandhya has always been towards everything, especially her relationships with members of the family. I also hope Bhabo opens her eyes and actually does something about Meena and her evil nature. Bhabo is aware that Meena is very narrow minded - she is always looking out for her best interest, not the family's, she's stingy and opens her mouth at all the wrong times to add more fuel to an already burning fire. Bhabo really needs to openly teach her a lesson.
I don't think Suraj thought about this time away to also be a crash-course in home sciences and home management for Sandhya but it sure is a healthy bi-product of the situation. Maybe when Bhabo sees Sandhya is actually capable of managing both the home and her work life - she'll be more receptive to Sandhya's dreams.
What do you guys think?
