I think the increase in TRP may have to do with new people discovering the show. It has only been two months and the 'jalal ka sarr' has stopped.. the story has moved on. May have nothing to do with the mrichi.. The show has come a long way from Jalal the jallad.

Word. 👏 I tried watching MP one day, and it was a truly brilliant show. A perfect historical. It did bore me to death since I dislike historicals, but lets not talk about me. 😆 The thing is, Historicals do not generally gain half as much trps as other shows. PRC, even in its heyday, did not gain sky-high trps, it just did good. And lets not forget, that it was a romance too. So yeah, this show is more popular because it blends some facts and a whole lot of fiction together. MP has a mere 1.5-1.7 trp. And since BALH on sony had trps over 3 for a long time, the idea that Sony cannot have high trp shows is wrong. People like what people like. And 8 pm slot is a time where a show will not run if it does not have a blend of romance and drama. 😉

I dont think TRP should be an issue for a show like this. The show has seen an interesting growth since its start and within 2 months its the second show on ZEE ...plus it has been appreciated too. All we ask for is some sanity to prevail in teh characters and their actions to be justified...In real world not every person is nice...we have mean and rude people exsiting too...similarly...a little touch of sanity in teh show can bring about reality.

Garnering TRPs saas-bahu way is definitely misleading the audience. And why call a show historical love-saga when it actually is just gonna be a love-saga...without any relevance to history.

Only historical show that i watched was Jhansi ki Rani...and it garnered good trps till its end...while not playing around with history..and neither making it a saas bahu politics show!

@blue - bold...loll..Sonys shows are pretty much jinxed these days...many have quality and content but end in a sad way. even BALh their highest trp show is on a pathetic route now!

yes thats what i m telling. 8 pm slot is a very tough slot to attract viewer as viewers are already attached to md n bv.. During arshi marriage time also ipk crossed bv but later its dropped a bit Hope cv's will get this. N will able to satisfy those trp audience . Till now cv's are on the right track . Hope this will continue in the future too.. As trp is the actual engine of the show which can even run a illogical show for a long period ..
