Okay so I just read on Facebook how punjabi community is banning him from performing in Canada

But why ?😕

Isn't he punjabi ?

He is punjabi but his songsls are a disgrace lol. It took a while but punjab finally banned him from singing in punjab. His lyrics are a disgrace and he always sings poorly about women and girls. A majority of punjabi singers learnt their lesson and stoped singing with him. I think he even went to jail recently bc of it. Thats why hed more in Hindi songs now. I personally like a few of his songs but a majority and disgusting to listen to especially if your a girl.

Yeah, he's very loud and upbeat about his explicit lyrics. Wonder what makes him stoop down so low.

Its a petition by a bunch of holier than thou fools. You need atleast 10,000 signatures to even get them to read it. These guys are at a laughable 1100. Nothings going to happen, Yo Yo will do his show at Wonderland, for punjabi day. It'll be sold out and these guys will be home, sulking.

Well, Punjabis understand the real "theth" Punjabi double meaning lyrics of his. The aam public of Delhi (yes 80% Delhites know/understand Punjabi but not to the extent that Punjabis from Punjab know) and other parts of India does not hence they don't oppose. They actually love his music because, lets be honest it sounds amazing. As a fan of his I feel Honey Singh is a very talented rapper/music composer, I just wish he would use his talent the right way by releasing songs like "Bring Me Back" only. Even Angrezi Beat could've done without the "Main teri le la oh meri le la" etc.
