Chapter 8

It was dot 7 p.m when priya drives to the Kapoor Mansion. She was trying to reach Ram since 6 but his phone was answering " the number you have dialed is presently busy!!" she even tried to call him when she reached his place but the reactions were the same . so she decided to ask the security to call his master . She gave him her visiting card.

' it's ok Ramesh..' she heard the man. When she looked back she found him talking over the phone , rather whispering to someone. She tried to distract her mind from the cal , that Ram was secretly or precise to say secretly from her , was making.

' Hi !' he came to her . She smiled back in response and voluntarily her eyes went to the phone , he followed her eyes . 'Oh!! Sorry for that I was talking with Preeti , I was just making her aware of my trip '

'who's preeti ?' she asked , walking to the driving seat.

He made himself comfortable in the front seat , and said that she is the girl about whom Ram discussed with her. She smiled though she wanted to cry out loud. Priya Ignited the car and drove out of the kapoor mansion.

' if you have had engagements , then why you turned up for the trip , I have not asked you to?' she said .

' this is the problem with you ladies , just let me finish what I want to say , I have had no engagements , neither with her nor with any one else. I wanted to come because I wanted ,now can we rush out of this Mumbai traffics please !!!' he said ..

Priya looked other side , she suppressed her emotions and concentrated on her drive only . first half an hour Ram looked at Priya , but she not for a single time looked at him. The silence was killing both of them and it continued to prevail till they were out of the heavy traffics to calm peacefully highway to Pune .

' can we have some music!!' he said , but priya didn't replied .ram again repeated his question taking her out of her concentration on the road. When priya looked at Ram , he found her eyes watery .

' everything is allright Priya' he said and priya could feel the concern in his voice. She was trying to hide her emotions from him badly but she donot know how long she will be able to do it. She gave a nod trying to say yes and smiled , ' you were asking for something'she said , but she refused to look into his eyes with the freight of getting caught .

'no 'he came back to his seat , freezing his eyes on her he said , ' I was asking if we could have some music..'

' yeah sure' she switched on the player , and it played some classics ... it first played ...

"Always- Bon Jovi. "

It followed with ...

"The power of love "" Celine Deon.

"The man I Love" and so on so forth , three more songs played .

Ram kept his eyes fixed on her completely , she was gulping lump in her throat .. in regular interval .. he can feel how nervous she is and definitely she is trying to hide out something big from Ram , and Ram knows it very well what it is.

"Priya every thing is not fine I guess"he said .

She for the first time looked at him , just for a second . Trailing her eyes to the road and wearing a fake smile she said , " I am Fine ram " Ram didn't said a single word , he just said , "Stop the car " Priya looked at him asking , what ? he repeated what he said . Priya tried to ensure she can drive to Pune as she is used to it.

'Look Priya , I am really not in a mood to argue , just Stop the car . Or else I will make sure you stop it ' Ram said looking at her . Priya parked the car by the side of the highway. Ram got out from the car , he came to the driving seat , opening the door he asked priya to come out . She firstly denied to get off from it .Ram requested her thrice when she acted like an adamant kid , he leaned to her and whispered , ' look Priya , enough of it , either you get out from it seat by yourself , or else I know how to preach you to the front seat. I am atleast stronger than you .. so please' he stood straight giving her space to come out. Priya came out from the seat and ram escorted her to the other side of the car .He opened the door for her and helped her to get in .

When Ram got into the car .. he looked at priya , he found tears rolling down her cheeks . Getting aware of it she wiped it out . he smiled and added , ' this time you are late missy your tears ditched you. will you please tell me what is the problem exactly.'

'Nothing' she said in broken voice and in her thought she almost shouted over him , 'you are my problem , My Love for you is my problem .I Love You , like hell and I cant tell you that .. and you duffer speak about other girls . I want to kill you for that .'

'Ok as you wish , but I have a collection of songs can I play it ..' he asked for permission .priya nodded yes . Taking out his I pod , he connected it with the music player of the car and it played ..

Ram drove the car , through almost desolated highway . It was raining , so the heavy vehicle drivers took shelter in the highway dhabas . he looked at priya , who was looking down to her lap. he didn't said a single word to her though he watched her crying . Rather he volume up the player .

This time priya felt shear pain in her heart , she is with the man .. who she loves so much and though she cannot speak out her heart . Ram was keeping an eye on her . He parked the car by the highway .Priya knew that may be she has got caught.. Ram didnt speak a single word . the song played .

The song stopped playing .Ram paused the player . he looked at priya , her eyes were closed , shut tightly . Clutching her shirt she still continued to cry. Ram leaned back to his seat . He feebly spoke , ' It's a high time priya we should speak , but I know you will still deny to do that , so I have to do that .. rather my actions should speak '.Ram waited for Priya to speak . Still she denies to speak.

In the meantime , the rain was pouring heavily on the earth.

Ram loosening his seat belt moved little to priya . he cupped her face in his hands. Her face was covered with tears. He caressed her face with his eyes . He leaned close to her , tilting his head to angle he took her lips in his . He kissed her . for few seconds she didn't replied him , but then she replied , she couldn't held back her emotions that she developed for him. Ram could feel her hands trailing to his shirt, clutching his shirt she titled her head to give him full access to her.. she too reached out for him. Ram kissed him sweetly yet passionately, she kissed him back with the same intensity.

In the middle of no where they kissed like they were starving for each other from ages.

But, priya pushed him back suddenly , they were breathless . ' priya' he called her by her name , she asked him to drive to pune as soon as possible. Ram didn't protest , he drove again and also resumed the song.. priya requested him to stop the song, he gave a nod and resumed to a silent ghostly drive.

It was 11:30 when Ram priya reached the SWARG. for her extended family it was mid night then. Ram blew the horn the security came and seeing priya he opened the gate immediately . priya came out first and asked for Meera , the care taker . the security ran to call her . Ram came out next to her .

' priya we need to talk '. Ram said ..

' I know .. Not now ' She said .. she smiled and took meera in a warm hug .She was pleasantly surprised to see Priya there , seeing Ram she was double happy . Meera wanted to inform Shikhaji , priya asked her not to disturb her in sleep and she added that she wanted to give her surprise . Priya asked Meera to open up the rooms upstairs for her and Ram. Meera rushed up stairs to do so.

The security took their bags from the car and walked with Ram Priya . He carefully put the bags in their room and then left . Meera asked them if they want to have some food . Priya checked the time , it was almost 12 then . Meera has to woke up early next day. So , priya asked her to resume her nap and she will manage something on her own she assured. Meera smiled and left priya's room.

She changed herself in her night suit . she called her brother and informed him about their same landing to pune . Priya walked out of her room , She found Ram changed in a jams and a t shirt waiting for her .

'coffee ?' she asked ,not looking at him ..

' sure .. but we need to talk '. Ram again said .

' you wait let me get coffee and some light snacks to eat . you must be hungry ' she started walking

' stop acting like a mother !!!. You are not my mother .' He said

'I am no one... Mr.Kapoor..' she replied back

' after that I have to explain to you , who you are for me ' Ram raged over her. For the first time priya was witnessing an angry raging man. She wanted to dodge him and go to the kitchen .

' come here .' He dragged her inside the room , and closed the door behind .

' mujhe jaane do '. She said , ' I need a coffee ' she managed to speak.

He came closer to her , she stood there without moving an inch . He came real close to her. When he traced his finger through her face , it sent several shivers down to her spine. He couldn't stop himself . He trailed his one hand to her waist , taking her in his arms , he lowered his face . closing his eyes he kept his lips on hers.

He looked up , she was breathing fast . Ram stepped back from her. He whispered almost , 'Go .. Just Go'.He turned his back to her . Priya looked at the man , tears tickle down her cheeks .. she failed to keep herself strong. She wept badly , but Ram didn't turned to her .

'I am Sorry ..' she could utter after a long trail of silence. She was still crying.

' for what !!' he asked back.

' I am really sorry ..' she ran to him and hugged him digging her head deep into his chest she kept on weeping .. Ram moved her face up .He found her face covered with tears . Wiping her tears with his thumb he kissed her forehead. Both of them knew , that they are heading to somewhere , from where there is no way coming back.

After kissing her for the third time , he trailed down to her neck. Priya clutched his T-Shirt. He fisted her hairs .. trying to get more access of her . His hand moved to her back ; inside her shirt . she took him more to her...

When it rained heavily outside , Love reigned over them , they Made Love ...

In the middle of night .. Ram's sleep broke, but when he extended his hand for priya he didn't find her by his side . he sat up looked around the room , there was no trace of her . putting his clothes he first checked the washroom . Though he found it unlocked from inside , he checked inside once , but she was not there even.

Ram hurryingly came out , he looked down to the ground , it was still raining , priya was not there even. He wanted to scream out her name, but it could make others aware that priya is lost , and shikhaji would come to know about their secret encounter, and definitely she won't be happy to know about them sleeping in the same room same bed , in each others arms.

Ram ran down stairs checked each corner, but she was nowhere. he again went upstairs and when he looked back , he found that he forgot to check priya's room. He walked to the door and tried to open it up but he failed to do it . Ram called priya by her name and asked to open the door . after several tries , ram got an answer from her , she asked Ram to stay away from her.

' god .. this lady .. terrible ..!!' he then tried to open the door , but it was securely locked . Ram then looked for the window if through that he can get an access to the room, But it has grills . So he tried hard to open up the door , but he failed dramatically , then suddenly he remembered his last trip , when priya took him for a tour of the house , the rooms has a common terrace , he thought to give a try to his luck. He rushed to his room , locked it and went to the terrace. Walking to the terrace door of priya's room , he gave a little push and found it open.

He sighed a breath of relief . when he entered the room he found it darkest. He switched on the light .. and then found priya sitting at a corner of the room. She was hugging her knees Head dug in between it. He slowly walked to her and kneeled to her.

'hey !!!' he touched her hand , when she looked up , he found priya weeping badly .

'hey .. Priya .. why are you crying??'he asked with very concern .

' I have done a sin . I have done a sin ' she said , ' you are loved by someone else , I should have controlled my emotions . But I failed .. I failed 'she continue to cry .. Ram sat down on the floor near her , cupping her face he said ' Look at me baby , look at me' priya managed to look at him.

' you have done no wrong priya , ask your heart why you got flown away with me , why I couldn't stop myself from making you mine , ask yourself , ask your heart '. He said .

'I love you Ram .. I Love you ' she threw herself to him he took her in his embrace, caressing her hair he said , ' I love you Too Priya .. I love you too ' he kissed her head and added , 'now stop crying ..please baby , stop crying ' priya was loosing her breathes for crying so long . he took her in his arms and made her lie on the bed. He crawled next to her . Taking her in his arms before he could say , ' Sleep.' Priya spoke.

'what you will say to your family Ram , what I will say to my family ? what preeti will do ?' she asked.

Ram had no answer , this time when she is so vulnerable , blaming herself for everything what happened between them , how can he say that everything was his plan. No Ram you cannot say this to her now ,he said to himself.

' baby , I love You .. only you '. I feel so much peace , when you are with me . I was a fool that I agreed to you , to call off this marriage but the truth is I cannot live with out you , I want to share my entire life with you baby 'Marry me' Ram proposed her in the middle of night , almost morning .

Priya snuggled more into him. He enveloped her in his arms. They slept in peace in each others arms and this time he made it obvious that she don't get a chance to escape from his arms and again start crying sitting in a corner of the room.

Next Morning !

It was 6 a.m. , the residents of SWARG got well awake by then and meera gave the news of priya's arrival to everyone. Shikha ji asked meera to take her upstairs. Priya has made all the arrangements she has made a slope so that she can go any where anytime.

Meera wheeled her to the first floor . She knocked at priya's room . It was almost 6:30 a.m and Priya is not a late riser. She got little surprised and then again knocked at the door . She got tensed a bit and knocked hard at the door.

Inside , Ram priya were absorbed in deep slumber , in each other's arms. Ram opened his eyes and he took few minutes to realize , what a big trouble they were into. He couldn't reply Shikha ji from priya's room . even though she knows everything about the plan , but she will never approve their physical intimacy before marriage. She can kill him. He took another few minutes to get priya out of her dreams. He asked her to answer to Shikha ji who must have invited many more others , by her voice and concern.

Priya tried to manage out her voice and replied back .. "Ye..yes darling"

' god , where you have been struck to ' Shikha ji asked from outside.

' ah' priya looked at Ram , who was then at the terrace door , said he will be joining her outside , he hurried to his room . priya said , ' ah...wa..wash room , my stomach is upset , I am sorry " priya was sitting on the bed still. She realized that she should open the door for her.

"I am coming " she rushed to the door .

In the mean time ram came out of his room , putting his T shirt. He wished good morning to the three people standing there and Shikha ji added to them and asked if there is any problem . Priya opened the door , immediately after , Ram stood with them.

" tu theek hai" Shikha ji asked her , she gave a smiled and nodded yes to her.

" but you don.t look so !' Shikha ji said . priya cried most of the time last night . The tears dried up on her face only.

'I am ok ..' she managed a smile, 'you all go down I am coming .'

' ok .. come soon sweetie..' shikha ji said , and before she could leave , she asked meera to call someone to clear up their rooms . hearing it Ram priya in unison called it 'NO!!!' Shikha ji asked to stop and looked back , Ram looked at her and with a smiled said , 'I have some personal reason , I don't know hers . sorry I need to change ' he rushed inside the room and locked the door .

'same here ..' priya also locked the door.

Shikha ji looked surprise and perplexed then asked meera to wheel her back.

Ram came back to priya's room . 'good morning!!' he hugged her , priya pushed him back from herself .

' not again priya !!' he said . Priya sat on the couch and asked him to leave the room , as any one can catch them anytime. Okay he said but before he left he kissed her cheek . She smiled and went to freshen up.

The Day , went well with the extended family . Shikha ji found priya smiling and going well with ram. She smiled and showed thumbs up to Ram. Ram smiled back. He thought "were I have dumped myself , one side daughter .. other side almost mother. One will kill me if she knows about my truth and other will kill me if she finds out that I have slept with her daughter before marriage !!!"

He sighed !!!!!

The lunch was special for everyone that day , because it was priya who cooked that day. In the kitchen priya smiled wittily all the time , Ram was all over her mind like a song playing in her mind . Meera few time asked her what is making her smile all the time she said that its just blast from the past that she was remembering .

She served lunch to every person , she served Ram too

Priya was walking past by Shikha ji caught priya's hand and said , ' ram , u lucky man , my priya don't serve every person . Ram blushed . Priya smiled and settled down to have her food with all her extended family .

After the lunch .

She stands on the balcony. it rained earlier that day. The weather is calm and cold. It was afternoon time generally her extended family takes an afternoon nap after lunch . She was thinking about what happened with her , what she did , after knowing everything is that the right thing she did? She was thinking about it for the second time. Her brain is trying to take over her heart for the second time.

"Hi " He came and put his hand round her shoulder. She smiled. Ram asked her what was making her think again.

" same thing " what I said to you yesterday. She said .

"and what I said you , I have said nothing to my dadi. She is the one to decide about my future, and for her , you are my future" He added.

"I know .. but like , she should be having some expectation, may be she is in love with you and I just bumped into your life like" she closed her eyes.

" look " Ram turned her to himself and said , "you have not bumped into my life .. I love you Priya .. its true I was running from you , but you know when I feel so happy , when you are with me not preeti "

" I Love you Too Ram " she hugged him , he hugged her back . he kissed her head .

In his thought

" Priya , how I wish , I could tell you there is no preeti ..there is no one I liked other than you . There is no one .. I am very much afraid now why ??? I don't want to loose you ."

Ram hugged her tighter , while she smiled in his arms but with a guilt of snatching someone from a girl , who may have fallen for him . That someone is none other than "RAM" for whom she has fallen for badly . it happened how happened , when happened she don't have any idea but it happened !!! the girl for whom she is feeling guilty is an imaginary name only "Preeti"showcased by Ram.
