why does dev have badluck in his life and what does the sandhook have to do with oh and also what is a sandhook

some siddhi baba predicted that dev will go through some trouble as the time was not correct(u may call it kundalidosh),he told that theres a stone to b kept hidden in the ashtha dhatu sandook(now why he gave that stone to ameesha is still a mystry),and when it will turn manik that is when a shine will come out of it dev's life will b in danger as that manikstone will show its effect on dev but if a girl whom dev falls in love with comesin his life then he will b saved and that manik stone will not affect him.
