v - "Jeevika lets go eat some breakfast at least"
j - "I'm not hungry Viren. Why don't you go with everyone else. I'll meet you guys tonight or something"
v - "What are you going to do by yourself all day today?"
j - "I just don't want to be around anyone for sometime"
v - "Can I stay here at least?"
j - "No you need to be with Zaaine right now. Can't leave him alone again today"
v - "Okay text me if you feel better and I'll come and get you" he said kissing her forehead.
Jeevika just smiled a little at him and then he left her giving her time and space.
Viren went downstairs to the restaurant where everyone was waiting for him and Jeevika. He hugged his friends who were wishing and congratulating him first.
zy - "Where's Jeevika?"
v - "She's in the room"
virat - "Is she okay?"
v - "Just having a rough start today"
m - "What happened? Should we go and talk to her?"
v - "Its okay, she's actually fine now. She said she'll come maybe in sometime"
m - "but all of a sudden?"
zy - "Today's her dad's birthday"
All of a sudden Zaained decided to speak too.
z - "No mommy cry because Daa made her"
The five of them cutely stare at Zaaine who obviously hated seeing his mother cry.
v - "I said sorry to her many times and she forgave me also Zaaine"
z - "Then why she no eat breakfast with me. Mommy left me yesterday also and today too"
v - "She said she wasn't feeling well, She will come join us later"
z - "Why? Is sister bugging her?"
Zaaine clearly never could forget about his sister, and that made Viren really happy. He knew Zaaine would be the perfect brother.
v - "Yeah a little bit"
z - "Daa me go get mommy. No eat without her"
v - "Zaaine let her sleep please. Do you want her to get more upset"
Zaaine wanted his mom to be with him. The six of them were sitting down and ordering their breakfast now and Zaaine was just feeling left out. He would much rather sleep or sit next to his mom than be here right now. As the food came, Viren started putting some on a smaller plate for Zaaine to eat. He handed him a fork to use but he just ignored him.
v - "Will you eat if I feed you at least?"
z - "no only mommy"
v - "Zaaine please"
z - "No"
v - "Okay, then don't tell me later you're hungry when we have to walk a lot"
Zaaine just looked away hoping Jeevika would come now while everyone else ate their breakfast. He didn't want to eat, so no one forced him to. They knew eventually he would eat before leaving, but Zaaine was persistent in his stubbornness. He didn't touch the food nor look at it. His eyes were glued to the front of him praying his mom would come soon. His stomach started rambling and Viren heard. He looked at Zaaine who looked back but still he had a no stuck on his face. Their breakfast was almost over and it was time to get going. At this point of time Zaaine was about to breakdown, neither did he get any breakfast nor was his mom here. He walked alongside Viren as the group started heading out the hotel. Zaaine looked back once more just in case his mother came and she finally did!!!! He left Viren's hand and ran up to her as she was walking towards them. Jeevika kneeled down picking him up and kissing his face.
z - "I missed you mommy"
j - "I missed you too" she said holding him tight.
Jeevika picked him up and walked towards the front where everyone else was. They didn't say anything and just smiled at her and walked outside. The weather was beautiful today. Cloudy, but not too cold. They got two taxis and everyone sat in. The first taxi was Viren, Jeevika, and Zaaine and the second one was with everyone else. Zaaine refused to sit on the seat, choosing to stay on his moms lap and closing her eyes while he lay his head on her chest.
v - "Zaaine are you hungry now?"
z - "Yes daa" he said with his innocent smile
j - "Why didn't you eat anything Zaaine?"
z - "Waiting for you. You feed me please"
j - "We'll get something to eat as soon as we reach wherever we're going. Where are we going by the way?"
v - "Brooklyn Bridge"
z - "Mommy when we go back home?"
j - "In two days. Why?"
z - "I miss my bed"
v - "Zaaine we're going to buy you a new bed. In a few months you might get a new room too"
j - "Viren I thought we went over this already, we're not moving"
v - "I know you don't want to, but I found an amazing place near our current home. Only if you love it, and Zaaine will we move, promise"
z - "Pinky promise"
v - "Pinky promise. You know it had a huge backyard with a pool too"
z - "So I can swim?"
v - "Yes anytime you want to"
z - "But me don't know how to swim"
v - "I will teach you"
z - "Mommy me want to move now"
j - "No first I want to see it"
v - "Obviously only then. But we only have like a few weeks to decide or someone else will buy it"
j - "Viren you're really pushing it. I didn't even want to leave and we may have to move in a few weeks?"
v - "Don't worry I will handle everything. You just need to like it, thats it"
j - "Can we enjoy Brookyln Bridge now?"
v - "Let's" he said kissing her forehead.
