Yes jalal took a wrong decision nd punishment given is not fair. But he is also not happy about it. He may hate jodha,but he doesnt want to take any wrong decision. He keeps justice as a seperate issue. He also sumwhere feels tht moti is innocent. Thts why he went to moti. Even he is feeling bad. He is not a cruel king, but he dont have any choice. Just like raja bharmal didnt had any choice.

I am just glad that he is a fair person

Look as a king u cant think emotionally. Yes as i said his decision is wrong, but law always wants proof. He cant take the the swear factor into consideration. So jalal also seemed helpless.

proofs r against moti so he wish or not he has to give punishment to the culprit he is king afterall its his duty 😳 he went to meet moti bai shows he is gentleman too as she is her reponsibility came with his wife after marriage .
