I think this is the perfect timing for CVs to start building some natural relationship feelings between Surya now that they are going to be alone in their own home.

Yes Sandhya was shaken to the core when such an unfortunate situation of loosing her parents to a terrorist bomb blast and then getting forced to marry by her selfish brother. But this is old news, she was shown multiple times by Suraj that this was meant to be especially with him being with her parents in their last moment. I would think that now that she heard from her own father, she must start building a physical bond with her husband, and if the CVs don't even show it now, I would seriously think they ever would do it, don't know which way they are heading. Personally being married myself, I would say that only a physical bond removes all barriers between a man and woman. The only reason Surya acts like only good friends around each other because they don't have any physical bond between themselves.

For what its worth, Sandhya tried her best to win over the queen of RP - Bhabo as a mother, but no avail, also with bhabo breathing outside the door of their room didn't help, but I still say if that if a couple really want to build a physical bond, they find any time any place. She has been more concerned by becoming a good DIL then a good wife, she has shown to make no effort in this area. Also I agree that she looses all focus on anything else once the "thanedarni" comes out.

she simply does not have a single ounce of the need to build a physical bond with her husband, I disagree with some members that this is not natural, I have seen that a few times in real life...

We have all seen Suraj longing to hold her, hug or a peck on cheek something but Sandhya has shown no desire, that is why she is oblivious to the needs of her husband. I really commend suraj here, because many men would leave this situation but he has stuck to earning his wife's happiness, perhaps he sees this as a key to break opening the thick shell around Sandhya.

However that being said, I think Sandhya will not show any build up of desire for her husband, instead we will see she will put effort in learning house chores and focusing on her dream to becomes an IPS officer. I would think it would take a miracle for Sandhya to build up desire for physical bond with her husband.
