There is an Akbar Birbal story.
Akbar is angry with one of his wives and in his anger orders her to leave the palace and go home. After much pleading, he tells her that she will have to go, but can take her most prized posession with her.
The begum goes to Birbal for help.
The wife puts something in his drink and akbar faints, with Birbal's help she takes the unconscious emperor to her maika. Akbar wakes up confused and questions her. She replies "You permitted me to take my most prized possession... what could be more important to me than you?"
Akbar laughs and forgives his wife.
Which begam do you think she was? Could she be Jodha/mariam..?
