Chasmah on SAB TV will soon be seen in Haunted Nights on Sahara One. Well she was the most
lovable person in Taarak
Mehta but has been missing
from the television scene
from long. However, she has
her own take on her career. In conversation with TellyBuzz Priya shares her future
plans, "I want to stick to lead roles now, since it's long time
now that I have been doing character roles. I was offered to
play the second girl in Chhanchhan which Tapeshwari Sharma is currently playing." She further went on saying, "However, I didn't feel like
taking up a cameo hence I declined the offer. Since its very
obvious that in the end the story is about Chhanchhan (Sanaya Irani) and Manav (Anuj Sachdeva), I just didn't want to do a role to be seen as the second lead." So this time Priya has chosen an episodic, "I will soon be
seen in Haunted Nights in which the story revolves around three friends and their journey throughout. I am the lead
protagonist in it, and the reason why I choose to take up
this role is because few of my industry friends told me I
should be visible in the television world. Also the role in Haunted Nights is very different from what I have done earlier so that's why I decided to take it up" she ends. All the very best Priya for your future endeavors!!!
