There are two kinds of people, ones who are stupid, and ones who are stupider. How do you know if you belong to the first or the second category.. of course you might have a doubt of which category you belong to.. and you might never know. You might wonder if you belong to neither.. I know someone like that.. I know someone who belongs to neither category.. Who is neither stupid nor stupider. He was the man who sold the world..
'Huda!'
I turn around, and I see her standing right behind him. Her face has an excited flush to it, and her curls were falling all over her face. She often tells me how she hates her hair, and wants it straight. I tell her it looks good, and she smiles at me adorably. She should smile more often, I muse, she looks good when she does that.
I sigh to myself, and whisper, 'Naina, I love you.' I never knew that I had actually said it out straight until I saw her body stiffen. And I thought that the friendship we have built over the years in broken now and here. But she doesn't leave. I close my eyes so she can go and leave me to wallow in self pity. But she doesn't. Instead she turns around, and looks at me. She looks ravishing.
Her lips are slightly parted, looking full and kissable. I wonder how it would be to kiss her. And so I do. I lean forward and kiss her fully into the lips, and I can feel her responding to my kiss. Her lips taste like honey, and I could see the sweat on the nape of her neck. It tastes salty.
We consummate our everlasting passion under a mulberry tree. It was the simplicity of the action that shocked me to the core, rather than the demeanor of the ever forgiving tree. I see her waking up slightly, and I face her. She opens her mouth to tell me something..
And at that moment, I wake up from my dream.
