I Wonder…

I wonder what I saw in you?

That I agreed to be part of you…

It took me more than normal time…

To accept that you were always mine!

You cared for me in many ways…

And love like this ...it always stays…

Though words were few when we were new

We heard the unsaid and got the cue…

As if from time immemorial we both knew…

And as days passed our love only grew…

I thank my stars for sending you…

Into my dreary life to add some hue…

You and me --- me and you

We are One --- though we seem as two!
