On Independence Day, everyone says that we are proud to be an Indian.
we are really proud to be Indian ?
No one is bothered about the country today.
we are taking advantage of freedom ,but we don't value
We have forgotten that
We've got freedom after so much struggle.
Many people have sacrificed their lives for freedom
but we enjoy Independence day like Holiday...
We have no responsibility towards the country?

Today in our country corruption is everywhere ,
in our country Girls are tortured everyday

Violence, Illiteracy, Poverty. Unemployment , Diseases has increased day by day

don't you think Guys
we should give just one day for our country...
we should do something for society...

Yes!!!!AT LAST WE ARE AWARE OF IT.We are very much aware of our RIGHTS but we are not recognising our responsibilities. Lack of education...zero tolerance towards fellow citizens and selfishness at its peak ..are main reasons for our sad state of affairs😡 When are we going to change?????IS it not high time to be humane towards women...girls ...kids?????

no country is perfect...its people have to strive to make it perfect..
but in india the politicians , goons and the anti social elements of the indian society are striving hard to make it the most imperfect country.. the worst affected are the middle class people...

ENORMOUS manpower...equal quantity of diversity...lack of unity -- making us powerless-- to rectify the social inequalities. Whenever there is a ray of hope in the horizon; politicians put their illogical blanket on it and A BIG THUD ---TOTAL SILENCE. Here intellectuals are considered as nomads.

Our teacher always said that we should give one day for our country in everymonth

We just blame the government
But we do nothing
We do not vote in elections ,
don't follow traffic rules

We promote corruption by bribing.

Excellent post, very relevant. It is easy to blame the country and its politicians but don't most educated people go on a holiday on election day and then sit in their comfortable chairs and comment on the woeful state of affairs?

As it is rightly said, ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country!

In our childhood TEACHERS taught us to be honest and never push us for competition...they taught us how to win through truthfulness. But today teachers are giving training to win over others by any means.

exactly look at the economy , rising prices..of petrol, and also of consumable goods (onions since recently) plus filthy politicians like raj babbar saying that one can eat a meal in Rs 12 😲, education system is useless, so mnay young students dont get admission in the college they want because they dont have enough marks ..so much young talent is wasted..

then there are social issues like is child abuse, racial abuse, women's abuse (rape, acid attacks n what not) , sexual discrimination, female foeticide..dowry n child marriages are still going on..

then there are environmental issues like pollution, traffic, no infrastructure in villages, lack of water supply n electricity even in cities, public transport system especially in bombay is horrible..there are not enough parks and open spaces left in cities for children to play or for people to relax..

farmers committing suicide ..the list will go on...

the constant terrorist attacks and tensions and attacks on the LoC border by pakistan..

no one is bothered abt the other person's life..

but still people are living and trying to cope with the situation and are brave to survive in all this...hats off to the people of India ..the ultimate survivors ..they are like the silver lining on the cloud..😊
