A day marking a beginning to a new dawn for India ...
A day to remember those who laid down their lives for our country ...
A day to salute our nation ...
Today is INDEPENDENCE DAY ...
Thanks to all those patriotic heroes ...
Who fought for us and our country ...
Who didn't enjoy the freedom ...
But sacrificed their lives so that their countrymen could live with liberty ...
A salute to them !
Let's rejoice in happiness and indulge in celebrations ...
Saluting the one's who made it possible ...
Singing in their admiration ...
Who made India stand high and mighty ...
Let's make them our inspiration !
The nation has come a long way ...
It has progressed a lot ...
But a lot still remains to be done ...
Now, it's us who need to shoulder the responsibility ...
To guide the nation towards development and prosperity ...
To set an example to the world ...
Of unity in diversity ...
Let's promise do everything and anything ...
To make every sacrifice on our part ...
To let this independence prevail ...
And making every heart say with pride ...
