Saath Nibhana Saathiya star biggest votary of long lasting peace at Malerkotla
MALERKOTLA: Popular television serialSaathNibhaanaSaathiya lead character AhemModi aka Mohammad Nazim may be living in Mumbai but his heart beats for native Malerkotla. The echo of secularism of Malerkotla is always felt at the metropolis. Any effort to disturb the peaceful fabric of the princely town disturbsNazim more known as Ahem Modi of highly popular soap of Star Plus. Taking time off from the action and drama, Nazim couple of days back landed at Malerkotla to celebrate Holy Eid.
Nazim going down the memory lane on Sunday said "as my childhood has passed in Malerkotla I always have dreamt of peaceful Malerkotla and whenever I hear anything bad at Mumbai about my birthplace my heart stops beating". He said I always apprise my colleagues about the peaceful fabric of the place despite Hindu-Muslims residing here in large numbers.
Having started the career on small box with Shaurya and Suhani, Nazim soon is coming up with a Punjabi movie 'Aaj De Full Fukre', which is comedy and action thriller. The movie is hoped to be released in October. Nazim said after Shaurya and Suhani, I got role in CID and Aahat but when got lead role in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya(SNS) got lots of publicity through the serial, which is on air for more than 3 years. Only recently though I got a chance to figure in Jhalak Dikhla Ja going on at Colours channel but I preferred to remain with (SNS).
While studying at local Islamia school I had attracted towards modeling and body building. Becoming Mr. Sangrur in 2004 changed his life and got chance to figure in an Album Tanhaiyan while studying at Mohali college. From here got chance to do roles in TV serials and shifted to Mumbai. He said the role of Ahem Modi has given him so much and now I want to try my luck at the big box and said if one is determined to achieve nothing is impossible.
