what is Janmastami ..plz explain 😕

It's the day that Lord Krishna was born. If you get samay news or any other Indian news broadcast watch it. man, people in india are having so much fun. Krishna Bhagwan used to break these clay things with butter inside them so on this day people tie matkees (totally butchered the spelling) really high and people build human pyramids to try and break them. I was watching all this on the news just now and there's one matkee that is tied like 52 feet up in the air. that's crazy! i would never be able to climb on people that high in the air and break one of them. the best part is though, my mom said that people of all kinds of backgrounds and religions get together and party even though it's a Hindu clebration. We don't do anything like that here in the US, we go to the temple at midnight, so everyone in India have fun for all of us!!!
