nice very nice postđđź,so very true Kunal is mindblowing in Vasu character as he was playing Mohan,Simply luv Kunal.hope channel change their mind of axing the show and explore the story.we as the fans of the show will definitely want the show to go on and on .Been a silent reader around here for a while. Thought I'd make a post for once. Needed to express a few things about the revamped version of NBT.To be honest, the writers behind the show and Vasu's character are absolutely geniuses. Bhau wala concept has been done before, but they have managed to establish an entirely different setting/environment for this one, and on top of that they've penned down an incredible set of new characters (Vasu's mother scares the crap out of me, Rukku is bittersweet, Bala makes me laugh, and even Rukku's father is quite an interesting character with his meaningful poetry).I have to admit that Vasu is my favorite character on TV right now. I haven't followed the show pre-revamp, so I've no attachment to Mohan. But I do feel attached to Vasu already, because I find him incredibly intriguing in the way that he's twisted, flawed, and is rather ambivalent when it comes to damaging people -- that is, until Megha shows up and sets his moral compass straight. What captivates me about him is not only his thug-ish attitude with that surprisingly considerate twist to it, but it's also the way that the character has been penned and how KKK portrays him. The subtle nuances that sets him apart and gives him certain trademarks -- such as the hair-grabbing, which seems to be his way of expressing something that he can't put into words. Caveman-ish, and yet not. The scene where he grabs Megha's hair the first time is what really made me experience his character's unpredictability.Furthermore, he has a way of staring at her that clashes with his rough way of handling/possessing her. I enjoyed his confusion over his own emotions toward her and I especially enjoyed how he, as the only one, understood the meaning of Rukku's father's poetry -- clearly comprehending that it was about him.Vasu's intelligence in combination with his aggressiveness and roughness is so enthralling -- it makes him unpredictable, intense, and multilayered.I've watched some episodes pre-revamp and there's a clear distinction between Vasu's character and Mohan's character -- even though they share the exact same appearance, etc. They're two sides of the same coin, in a way, and I love that. I wouldn't want Vasu to become Mohan at any point, honestly, because he'd lose the essence of the character of Vasu.I'm a bit bummed because I just started following the show, loving the brilliant chemistry between Vasu/Megha, and fangirling Vasu, and then I read about the show coming to an end in September. Needless to say, that's upsetting. Especially because the pace might pick up and some things that I would have rather savoured between Vasu/Megha will be sped up and gulped down. She's already warming up to him and I would've liked to see a bit more collision of wills between them before that happened. However, channels are like that. You never know when they might axe your favorite characters or show and that's that. But I find the writers incredibly talented and smart. It's not easy to start a new story for the third time with the same actors, sustaning some characters while axing others. Yet they're doing a fabulous job, staying fair to the actors' mind-blowing ability to perform, putting thought and emotion and purpose behind every scene, every dialogue, and every character.Fantastic cast and crew. No doubt.
