While the rest of Bollywood was buddying it up at Ekta Kapoor's Iftaar party, Rishi Kapoor was involved in a rather unsavoury encounter in the same hotel's washroom.
The veteran actor was followed into the bathroom by an eager fan, a man in his 60's, who waited for Chintuji to get over his 'business' before finally mustering enough courage to request for an autograph. What followed left onlookers shocked and the old gentleman beating a hasty retreat. An eyewitness told Mirror, "Rishi shooed him away with some extremely offensive language as he was irritated at being accosted inside the washroom. No one expected such behaviour from him, he is such a popular and senior actor."
Rishi was a tad irritated when we contacted him for confirmation and asked us to text him instead. He replied within a few minutes saying, "When you go to the washroom to do what you have to do and at that moment someone wants your autograph what do you say?" We can think of a hundred better ways to refuse a loyal fan.
