That's true! General audience don't care and they hardly notice about acting as long as the movie is entertaining and actress as well. I wasn't into this online world few months back, so as general audience I didn't even notice neither knew Kat's being called wooden in online forums etc. My friends and all the people I know, who watch Indian movies here, love Kat and neither they have noticed about her bad acting because as long as the movie entertains you which all Kat movies are, she will loved and so are the movies. General audience don't even have this much time to analyse who acted good or bad as long as the movie is good, the girl's item songs are famous etc. I always thought Priyanka and Vidya were the best actresses, but coming to Kat I had no opinion on her except that her movies are awesome and she is entertaining on screen. I just enjoyed her movies and liked her songs so on.
And coming to DP, Most of people her don't even know her or like her as much as Kat. It's mostly because Kat's songs are very famous here. And some of my friends who don't even like and watch Indian movies know her and admire her beauty.
