TOI: Ayaz wishes on Eid

On the auspicious event of Eid, our TV stars are preparing for festival with full fervor. They are all set to welcome this event with full preparations. Here are few stars wishing Eid Mubarak to their fans.

Anas Rashid Eid is a once-in-a-year kind of celebration at my place but this year it's going to be a 'working Eid' for me as we are shooting back-to-back. Every year we have a huge celebration on Eid. This year I'm sure I'll do something; probably have dinner with friends out and celebrate differently post shoot.I hope I get an off on Eid as I want to celebrate the festival with my family. I am looking forward to the feast especially my mom's biryani and reshmi kebabs. It is a special day for every Muslim because after a month of Ramazan we are blessed with the holy day of Eid. My day starts with offering namaaz to the Almighty, followed by visiting people and relishing some delicious food.

Asiya Qazi: Eid is a very special occasion for me since everyone in my family comes together at this point of the year to welcome this auspicious occasion and we end up indulging in a lot of sweet delicacies like Sheer Khurma, Cham Cham, Ras Malai, Barfi and Gulaab Jamun. Since I have a sweet tooth, I wait with bated breath for Eid to arrive! Another best thing about Eid is the Eidi which we receive every year. As kids we eagerly wait for Eid just to receive Eidi. This year too I am expecting to receive a hefty Eidi this Eid.

Ayaz Ahmed: Wish everyone a happy and prosperous EID. May all indulge in over eating and have loads of Sewai and Biryaani.

Mohammad Nazim Eid is the most celebratory festival and it holds a special place for me too. I spend Eid with my family and close friends. I would never miss this for anything. My fondest Eid memories are from my childhood. Our extended family used to come to our place in Punjab. Spending hours bonding with my cousins and siblings are memories I will always cherish. We used to have Iftar, and the best part was the food.

Hina Khan: I hope I get an off on Eid as I want to celebrate the festival with my family. I am looking forward to the feast especially my mom's biryani and reshmi kebabs. Mazhar Sayed: Since we are all television actors and are caught up with our daily soaps, Eid gives us all a reason to take some time out to meet our loved ones and celebrate this festival with them over delicious food! I mainly enjoy this festival for I get to meet my old cousins and close friends amidst my hectic shooting schedule. Also, my mother's mouth-watering sevaiyya is something I always look forward to!

Ayub Khan: I love Eid because I get to visit a lot of Iftaar parties my friends throw! Of course I enjoy these parties since I get to meet all my old pals but what I really enjoy is the delicious and authentic Muslim food! Kababs, nawaabi biryaani, shawarma and sheer korma are my absolute favorites!
